It’s no year for a big-government pessimist.

Media Baffled: Why Isn’t Rising Stock Market Helping Obama?
by Jammie via Jammie Wearing Fools
Frankly, it’s the only bright spot about the economy during his reign of
error. He’s failed at everything else, but somehow the stock market has
doubled since 2009. Of course, he has nothing to do with it.
A 98 percent gain in the stock market should be a boon to any sitting
president, but that hasn’t been the case for President Obama.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average has nearly doubled in valu...

Especially given the timing of today's Goldman Sachs hearing in the Senate--the war between Wall Street and Main Street has just started, and minority shareholders might be the ultimate real victims。。
大胆猜测:今天大盘大跌背后有没有Goldman Sachs做空的影子?
要不然就是投资者irrational pessimism?或是everybody decides to take profit in a non-cooperative game?

Nonfarm payrolls increased by 288,000 jobs last month and the unemployment
rate fell to 6.1 percent from 6.3 percent in May, the Labor Department said
on Thursday. Data for April and May were revised to show a total of 29,000
more jobs created than previously reported.

Facebook, Apple, And Microsoft Are Ganging Up On Google
Back in the old days, the big bad company in tech that all the other
companies teamed-up against was Microsoft.
Microsoft was the evil empire.
So, Apple and Google worked together to squash Microsoft.
Former Apple CEO Steve Jobs used to mentor Google cofounders Larry Page and
Sergey Brin. Google CEO Eric Schmidt used to sit on the Apple board.
This is no longer the case.
These days, the common enemy is Google.
In recent years, there have be... 阅读全帖
