知道做了pharmacy technician后， 药店如何将工作时间转成intern hours. 是不是决
定权都在药店manager手上？

面的销售压力，各种paperwork， 各种metrics，处理各种complaints, 协调同事间的
关系，做staff就轻松很多。好处是你可以自
己订schedule，按你自己的方法偏好run the pharmacy. |

tech 都说不想要周末shift，铁定no show, 然后剩下一个药剂师一个cashier，
cashier还是半天的那种，然后PIC又来电话要我cover 周末shift. 想了想还是不打算
burn bridge就答应了
当药剂师如果单打独斗实在太可怕了 如果没有tech帮忙怎么同时应付几个窗口呢
感觉这个是以后不得不面对的问题 |

1. 家庭开的pharmacy
2. Warehouse，像Sam's club
3. Wargreen/Rite aid/walmart/Grocery store
4. CVS
需要说明的是，这不是绝对的，只能是大概， 大家有什么异议，欢迎提出来。
今天看一个病人，自费买在CVS是165一个月，我说到Sam's试试，结果只要30，她高兴

瓶装普通胰岛素在大部分州是OTC (Novolin N, Novolin R, Novolin 70/30).需要用注
射器.可以在Walmart 买到. 10ml一瓶$25.(其他药房很贵, CVS $180 一瓶,太evil了.)
. 胰岛素放在药房里面,需要向药房工作人员购买.
胰岛素笔用的penfill 是处方药,美国没有处方买不到.
如果从国内带,一定要随身携带,不能托运.因为胰岛素冷冻后会失效.
另外这里药房买的药,保存的好,活性效力高.

早就开始收紧了。
本人今年25岁，走过了8年的留学时光，经历也许和很多人都相仿，这次也只是来发发
牢骚，你大可一笑而过，但是，有句话你最好看个0.5秒，那就是：不要让你认识的人
去学药剂师专业（刻意陷害他人的卑鄙者除外）。
2003年8月19日踏上澳洲，高中两年还算顺当，那点低技数学就当塞牙缝了，英文嘛是
esl，稍微努力点，考到40分以上也不难（读过vce的应该知道分数概念的吧），这样
ENTER达到了99.15。当时就人有些飘飘然，觉得读书神马的不在话下。老子说的好：福
兮祸之所倚。厄运从飘飘然的感觉中开始了。本科选了药剂学，也就是pharmacy，但是
说给别人听的时候，好些人都认为我报了农业科技。
上了课才傻了，生物的基础没有，上课听得又很吃力，一周上课大概30小时左右，这和
一些经济类的相比算是长的了吧，参考书是买不起的，都买下大概一千刀以上，所以只
能借或者买点二手的。后来也觉得没必要买。第一年的时候买的那些都是受骗的，前一

我两个月前就是你这个情况 反复看学校 做比较 后来亲自去了几个pharmacy school的
招生的面谈 了 得到很多鼓励
pharmacy school的 学生统统都是optimistic 觉得熬两年就可以赚six figures, 特别
是P1 和 P2的, 美国学生普遍比我小10岁的样子 有两个P2
的居然还没到20岁 和sdn 上惨淡景象成强烈对比
有些P1 /P2可能没有钱的烦恼吧 居然每周都在pharmacy store 做volunteer 我去药店
申请tech 职位的时候以为我也是pharmacy student 结果我现在也只好申请volunteer了
现在入学很容易 德州2006年以来pharmacy school 翻了一番 你2015年入学的话有8所
学校招生 每年州内招生/毕业都要1000+ 所以入学不要担心 申请人虽多 但是很多
美国孩子读上了也会quit 掉 因为 学费高 学业跟不上等等 大多数人都是 23, 24 岁

I used to work for a 24-hour pharmacy, we had 1 pharmacy manager, 3 staff
pharmacists, and floater pharmacists on the weekends. I now work for a 14-
hour pharmacy, we currently have 1 pharmacy manager and 1 staff pharmacist
and many regular floaters for busy Mondays and weekends. So I don't see how
1 pharmacist is enough to run an entire pharmacy.

刚到美国，拿着奖学金，读着不被看好的natural science Ph.D.，没有身份，口语勉
强应付TA工作，每天满足的生活在实验室跟公寓两点之间。大公立的好处是，国内来的
师兄师姐多，我一来就被他们劝退，所以我刚开始Ph.D.就已经朝思暮想，寻求更好的
出路。当时，正值pharmacy牛气冲天，各种紧缺，高薪的消息不停的敲打我心房。恰好
我们学校有个排名非常top的pharmacy school，学校里有翻译外国成绩单的部门，不用
ECE来翻译证明，学校内部就可以翻译课程，转学分。如此方便，我立马拿着本科成绩
去求助。翻译工作人员十分吃惊：“你想好了吗？真要转pharm.D.，那不过是个entry
level的doctoral program.“他的话让我犹豫，到底该不该转。成绩单翻译好了，下一
步便是约pharmacy adviser谈话。他对我无鼓励，只有打击，他说公立学校招国际学生

发帖数: 5769 | 50 给你一些信息吧，希望能帮上忙。一般比较忙的店容易缺人手，像我们店是在市中心的
super Walmart，总是很忙，压力大，好多人都干不下去。上次我们新来的一个小姑娘
才做了一周就quit了，所以这种店hire人的机会多一些。
如果你能打听到哪几家pharmacy是busy store，像我现在就知道我们这一家，还有另一
家super center，甚至一家neibourhood小walmart都是很忙的，那家neibourhood居然每
天能fill 600多个处方耶！
如果你直接在网上填application呢，机会肯定很小。因为大部分人是因为认识内部的
人进来，pharmacy tech还算比较吃香的一个工种。因为只需要高中毕业，然后挣得钱
又比一般cashier和其他员工高。所以最好的办法是去店里面问哈。
还有时机，夏天算是淡季了，春季开始是忙季，openning多一些。
还有呢就是如果你没有认识谁，直接进pharmacy是有点小困难的，我之前考了PTCB，拿
到了national pharmacy techanician certificate，还是找不到工作，不过当时也不
