When I was interviewed in a hospital, the program director told me that he
only have 6 positions available this year but there are 1400 applicants.
Most International Medical Graduates do not have American clinical
experience. How to get this sort of experience? It is almost impossible for
IMGs because all the clinical related works in States require license and
insurance. In his program, there are 4 residents are RN-to-MD philipinos. He

philipino RN went back to philipine md school after practcing several years
of RN in USA. So when they graduate, it is easier to get matched. I think
nursing is a really good stepstone if you are a foreign med graduate. you
can go CRNA program, and get paid at $80-90/hr, better than many doctors. |

China has to make socks for the market for it to run "free", as Philipinos
have to send their daughters to college and later become maids for HK
residents, of course, also very free. Meanwhile the States print their green
bills sort of free.

they have 10K EB3 shown in the chart for 2006, but most of them are CPs.
Most of them are related to healthcare field, and most of them have some
dependents. The total EB number for P should be at least close, if not more
than, to Chinese EB number. |

philipino seaman. When he first felt sick, he was just left the seaport of
HK and could not check that out in time. When the ship returned and landed,
he went to hospital but could not come out alive any more.

facilities。我刚开始找工作给agency打工的时候，float到不同地方做过，真心没法
在那些地方长呆。中国护士，据说是普遍的asian，都too humble，但我觉得应该不包
括philipino，都是比较好欺负的。我觉得你的同事是欺负你，所以才这么做的。而且
他们是jealous，看不惯一个Chinese 做RN，但他们有too lazy and not smart enough
to be an RN. 这样的人到处都有。所以你要小心！保护好自己，适当的时候要speak
out and say no. |
