因为就考PHP没有多大意义，会C++/Java的一两周就可以上手了，
所以面试时会考你整个web development的方方面面，例如MySQL,
Javascript, HTML, CSS, Flash，不同browser的兼容性问题，
还会问你做过什么网站，只有book knowledge是不够的。这样
全套准备下来要花不少时间，需要knowledge加上experience，
对fresh graduates来说机会并不是很多。还有很多这样的活
找个contractor来做就好了，毕竟并不是所有的网站都要做到
AMFLG这样的程度的。
当然你要是有相关的经验分享，还是有人愿意看的。:) |

CMS做了10年。但无学位。熟练JQuery/Bootstrap等。
但看A和G的job搜索都没有PHP，而且似乎它们都有学位限制。并且看很多面经都是算法
，我的弱项。平时做项目开发也很少用到算法，所以没有刻意去了解。
我喜欢编程，enjoy PHP。现在NYC找工作，准备在indeed和linkedin上看。但是深知在
大公司能学到很多经验和能力。不知何去何从，但求不吝赐教。
像我这种情况能内推吗？ |

，熟悉软件开发Agile流程。

J2EE is good for large and complex enterprise application
.Net is good for small to medium size enterprise application
PHP, ASP is good for websites that do not need a lot of backend integration
and interface with other site.
Ruby on Rails is good for beginner who want to learn and compose a site in
the shortest time.
.cgi is good for site need the best performance.
Cold Fusion is easier than PHP and ASP but not as good.

hibernate用来做大型的ENTERPRISE APPLICATION的, 把多个层之间的结构理清的确比
较容易构架,容易分工.
用J2EE来做一般的网站注意点的话的确performance 还可以, 但万万比不过PHP之类的,
好象连.NET都比不过, .NET的JIT做得比JAVA性能好, J2EE来做一般的网站的最大问题
是开发周期太长, 用PHP之类一小时能干的事情, J2EE可能要两三小时或更长. STARTUP
可能损失不起这个时间. 当然JAVA 有很多好的PACKAGE, 比如Lucene, 要用这些的话
可能只好用J2EE.

人帮我做一些小项目，一则不想自己业余时间太忙，二则有些工程项目我也不是太精通
，想找到合适的人来一起做/合作。过去三四年找了差不多10来个人，基本上都非常不
合适，原因很多。一个项目做完甚至没做完我就再也不想让他去做了。半年前终于算是
找到一个好的合作伙伴。专业上很精通，基本上项目的细节我就不用操心了，只需要将
中文的项目报告改成英文就可以，大家合作非常愉快。现在我只要有跟他专业相关的项
目基本上都直接转给他来做了。呵呵，感慨一下找到个好的合作伙伴真的是太重要了。
最近半年，一直想再做一个网站，关于汽车团购方面的。说实话，过去一年看到很多汽
车团购的类似网站开了又倒闭了，基本上没有成功的，原因我想主要是由于制造商和
dealer都抵制团购。我做这个团购网站主要也是基于一种兴趣，三五年内不想着挣钱，
准备长期养着这个网站，另外我想是作为一个自我学习的机会，为以后做别的网站练练
手。
目前我用的是国内最土团购的模板，里面的内容需要做大幅度的修改，目前我自己已经

opening available. It is a contract to hire job, and mostly focusing on PHP+
wordPress, and I believe more on the GUI side. They kind of hoping to have a
more senior level programmer.
Not too sure about the pay, but I believe it is around 65-85 an hour and
probably cannot sponsor (yeah, bad). I am not too sure about the details of

我还是停留十几年前的网络语言...

but perl has a very powerful function for regular expression pattern,
which I used to parse text files.
I am not familiar with perl. So I want to learn it more. but I have no too
much time to learn it. so this time I choose php.
but php is only for my web development. Perl can be used for my text(string)
processing.
