可以看出几点有趣处：
1）即使在所谓轴心时代之前，地球主要文明的萌发也具有轴心性，也就是似乎同时出
现，很多现象也具有同时性synchronicity。 比较偏僻的美洲文明，时间上也晚不了多
少。
2）四大文明古国，是妥妥的四大。
3）有很多巧合，比如，有人提出，为什么雅利安人攻打恒河流域和周灭商（可以说是
羌人攻打黄河流域）几乎同时发生，为什么？ 之前赫剃与迈锡尼的灭亡也很接近，已
经肯定是同一批人攻打洗劫的结果，sea people 先灭赫剃，再打迈锡尼。古埃及中王
朝和商朝也几乎同时出现的。
以下时间其实都应该加上c. 多半都是近似时间。不用细抠。抠也难有定论。

我情有独钟的一本书。彩色图解300个汉字，有象形，指事，会意，形声，假借和转注
字（主要是前三种）。我喜欢的主要原因是它的图解很漂亮，不仅直观，而且有很多历
史文化意义。家里有学汉字的小朋友也可以买一本，激发学习的兴趣。
如果大一点的孩子可以理解的话可以告诉他们，那些intuitive的汉字（象形，指事，
会意）其实只占所有汉字的3%左右。

pictograph & petroglyph 更加有味道，更能吊起人的胃口吧。想想看，当崎岖的山路
把你带进一眼望不到边的密林和岩石的世界，然后下车花两个小时在树丛岩石之间探索
，突然在下一个拐弯处，眼前出现一条窄窄的古道通往一个尽头在半山腰的岩洞，而古
道边的岩石上布满了密密麻麻的人和动物的图案，走在古道上，不经意间扭回头望去，
一只苍鹰在谷顶盘旋，是不是恍惚间时光倒流，就看见了所谓的“圣灵”，一个手持一
根藤杖，披头散发，满是皱纹的印第安老人呢 。。。靠，可能是与狼共舞看多了。不
过，在远离现代文明的硅谷的千里之外，满足以下好奇心还是一件很爽的事情。
不知道行程中是否安排了一两个这样的去处，那样的hiking比起走在静静流淌的扑满落
叶的小溪边就来的比较有种收获的感觉，期待中。。。

发帖数: 1879 | 21 有个 protein 叫 CREB 的跟记忆有关. 记得一年前 PBS 播过一个记录
片关于记忆的两个极端:
1. pictographic (spelling?) memory. 历史上有个人因为记忆力太强,
结果每看到一个东西便会使他想起一段记忆. 结果一事无成, 最后只
好搞 freak show 来挣钱度日.
2. 另一个有见忘症的, 先在帮助某医学院研究记忆. 年记虽然大, 吃穿
写字说话都没问题, 但是只有 short term memory 和 childhood
memory 还在. 过去几十年的记忆为零, 什么东西过不了几分钟便忘.
不过通过训练得来的记忆还能保留.
