solar cell的难度不在于efficiecny破纪录，而在于如何用现在1/5的成本作一个20%的
cell,还要至少把这个技术转移到100cm2的pioneer line的 量产上
nano solar那种连个产房都没，拿着blueprint就敢去套风投，还能把钱搞来的时代结
束了。。。。
现在风投都会找那些退休的老头子去厂子里评估，没有量产能量是没钱给你的。。。。
平时看到到的真神，现在在startup都能看到。。。
advent solar，我很看好，也开始裁员了，他们的EWT似乎无法在pioneer line 上demo
剩下sunpower的smartsolar,不得不承认,stanford的这票人，确实牛x
量产22.4% |

户外活动就剩下滑雪了，别的都受很大限制。摄影也不是好时候，很多地方不能去，还
有光的质量不行了。一般早上8点多天才亮，下午4点天就黑了，转变的时候难见太阳光
，都是乌突突的云。
国家公园方面，Mt Rainier只有一条路开放，周末可以开到Paradise。Olympic的温带
雨林和Hurrican Ridge还开着，西边的海岸都开放。North Cascades基本上没法去了。
冬季还有一些看鸟，看大角羊，看三文鱼回游的机会，这些要仔细查证日期，我一时也
说不出。

我把garmin以及我之前的pioneer的head unit都卖了.主要觉得外置每次拿出来取下去太
麻烦.插个电源线扯着也难看.
话说这山寨系统还挺好用的.地图也很强大,搜POI非常快,而且出奇地全(我们学校边上一
个开业才一两年的中餐外卖小店都能搜的到)
另外就是放音乐方便些了,选歌可以直接点了看目录树.
(另外山寨果然霸气,双SD卡槽,一个是它带的导航和地图的SD卡.另一个才是自己插了放
音乐用)
之前用的pioneer的一款,有usb,也挺好用的.唯一就是,不能显示中文歌名,然后就是选歌
稍微麻烦点. 被我从stratus移到si,卖车又移下来,但是看到mustang这个内饰,突然就脑
袋发热想搞个in-dash的算了... |

this car, and have fun as a toy for maybe several years, even though it

这一段时间转基因食品的话题又变得异常火爆。在各种场合，我经常被问到转基因的问
题，大家最关心的是它是不是安全。在我费劲口舌解释了为什么转基因食品并不可怕之
后，听者往往将信将疑，然后盯着我问：“你自己吃转基因食品吗？”
我当然吃，而且已不知不觉吃了十几年。美国转基因食品开始大规模地上市是在1996年
，最早推广的转基因作物正是美国人的主粮之一——玉米。现在美国市场上的玉米80％
以上都是转基因的，主要是抗虫害转基因玉米。“虫子不吃的，人能吃吗？”这种中国
式的疑问在美国似乎从来就没有人提出过。
除了玉米，大豆、土豆、西红柿、油菜等主要农作物的转基因品种也在美国大量种植。

发帖数: 5892 | 38 从本周二开始，多伦多市民可以从本市32家公共图书馆分管领取一张免费参观证（Pass），一家4人，包括2名成人2名孩子可凭该证周末免费游玩多伦多动物园（Toronto Zoo）。
该项目为市府向市民开放文化艺术景点计划的一部分，早前有安省皇家博物馆、安省美术馆、多伦多历史博物馆、安省科学中心以及Bata Shoe Museum、Black Creek Pioneer Village、Casa Loma等已经列入名单；多伦多动物园是最新列入的一个。
该计划主要为收入较低、为孩子们支付到这些著名景点参观有困难的家庭提供方便。该计划自2007 年推出以来大获成功，有超过30万人次参观了市内各主要博物馆和美术馆等景点。

在小学二年级之前，代雨辰随留学攻读博士的父母生活在德国，回国后在珠海念书，高中来到华附国际部。她在四五岁时就随父亲学习钢琴，初三已经拿到了英皇考级“演奏级”证书。除此以外，她还考取了小提琴六级、竹笛达到六级水平，并自学了葫芦丝。
高二，代雨辰获得美国ASSIST项目全额奖学金，作为交换生在位于美国华盛顿的国家大教堂学校就读一年。因为这是一所女校，在这一年中，她开始关注女性研究。为此，代雨辰阅读了许多关于女性研究的书籍。

而提名范冰冰的正是国际知名设计师Diane von Furstenberg，她认为范爷是“善用自己能力的女人”！
《TIME》杂志这回将全球百大影响力人士分为5大类，分别为Pioneers、Artists、Leaders、Titans及Icons。

first of all, jobs and woz are both competent technically. jobs was
adequate, while woz was brilliant.
2ndly, for the stuff they are pioneering in the 80s, it's so cutting edge
that there's no college curriculum covering them, even if they want to study
it in school. certainly with what we know now about PC they seem tame -
but for the era what they did was very much at the bleeding edge.

别的不说吧，Intel为什么不自己搞一部电脑出来卖？

拿留存下多少说事。
你如果只揪着可能实现的无立柱跨度什么的说事，我也没话可说，单纯的木头做承重结
构应该就只能用这种设计。如果中国古人一开始就木材大料短缺，只能拿石头造大房子，
肯定也能弄出类似西方的建筑流派。
我这边有很多美国pioneer时期的建筑，材料也是粘土、木头（估计最早期新大陆烧砖
可能不方便），和早他们再几百年只用相同物料的中式民居比，结构的设计差到海里去

看到一种说法，是因为中国古代金属锻造技术远远优于西方。木匠需要的工具比石匠高
级。中式的榫卯结构拼接而成的斗拱也比西式建筑抗震等级高的多，因为各个关节
都穿插而成，没有铆钉，可以吸收震动能量，木质自身也有弹性形变。
