原来装了一个pioneer，有BT（带外接mic，效果很好），ipod
cable，能用PAC steering wheel control。可是最近坏掉了，
刚用了一年多。看到这个好 deal 决定跳了。
声音比pioneer还好。我记得pioneer line out voltage更高，但
clarion音量一点不小。屏幕小了一点，但看很多info比普通head
unit强多了。mp3, HD radio歌名啥的字看起来舒服好多。没有
sw contro |

发帖数: 2286 | 5 用过6个receiver: Pioneer 5xx, 10xx; Onkyo 5xx, 6xx; Yamaha 6xx, 8xx. 没全都
side by side比过，但 Yamaha 8xx比Pioneer 5xx, Onkyo 5xx明显要好。Pioneer
10xx属于跟Onkyo 6xx一档，但个人感觉听音乐高音有点过。Yamaha 8xx目前为止最满
意。
DS音箱用过POLK, SONY, PIONEERR， JBL， Mirage和Klipsch。感觉POLk RTi6 性价比
（sale $150一对）最好。Mirage的360D 确实有效果。不过woofer是5.5"(5"?)，低音
有点差，要加subwoofer。
朋友的tube也听过。确实像传说中讲的有一种挺特别的柔和。但我的音箱比较一般，个
人感觉不到$400买的Yamaha 8xx已经够用了。
你买一对Polk RTi8跟Polk R50放一起一比你就知道差别了。 |

感觉确实还对得起耳朵了。建议不要一下都配齐，多注意一下网上的deal，能省不少，
$1-2K肯定够了。

解一下大家的想法。一家之言，抛砖引玉。
其实准备工作是早就在做了，但是直到真正开始买房，才对湾区的地理人文有了更深刻
的认识。本来觉得湾区聚集了高科技精英，应该学区都不会差到哪里去，第一轮调查下
来大失所望。第一感觉就是旱的旱死，涝的涝死。好的的确好，美国高中前200名，差
的差到2，3分，根本不能念。60万的预算在好学区连块地都不一定买到，所以我们从一
开始就把目标定在800分左右的高中学区里，所谓的三流学区。据说高中API 800分是道
门槛，过了以后一般会正向反馈。而且这个级别上加州州立能占点便宜。所以我选择的
这几个高中都是保持在800左右的。我们的策略是进可攻，退可守。800分的高中不算好
，但是还有潜力，我们的孩子还小，可以当种菜种一种，如果上来了是上上策；如果上
不来，也不是不能念，大不了将来或买或租到好学区去，是中策；如果学区掉下去了，
则是下策，但是这种学区是我们要尽量避免的。

一点点考据癖，经常会考证一下我阅读到的东西。我的考据癖让我发现了令我十分反感
的一点：基督教的宣传资料上面往往充斥着各种各样的谎言。正是因为这段经历，每当
我看到为基督徒们唱赞歌的文章的时候，我的第一反应都是：这是真的吗？

一點的塔河湖（Lake Tahoe）不到一個小時車程，位于80號高速公路的南邊，靠著一個
叫川克（Truckee）的小鎮。
唐納湖因為1846年的唐納冒險團（Donner Party）的不幸遭遇而命名。是美國開發西部

benefit for the whole group. but some of the rest didn't respect their
effort, didn't encourage them. after they achieved their goal, the whole
group including those people without any contribution ran out to pick up the
ripe fruit. even ran faster than the pioneers.

Steve Jobs故去了。AAPL对其评价极高，流量第一的Google网站也在简洁的首页Link了
AAPL的官方悼念网页。这都非常合适。
然而，一向理性冷静的西方文化却出现了将其与爱迪生、爱因斯坦并列的赞美。这就很
有些中国人永远的情绪化煽情的味道了。
Steve Jobs发明了Personal Computer，GUI，GUI OS和后来的以iPad和iPhone为代表的
iMac系列。这些无疑改变了现代人的生活方式。
对于与Steve Jobs相比较的一些标志性的人物，按重要性，正确的排序似乎应为：
1，牛顿，爱因斯坦
2，爱迪生〉瓦特=贝尔〉赖特兄弟〉Stephen Crocker和Vinton Cerf〉博纳斯-李
3，福特=波音=Steve Jobs〉Bill Gates
4，索罗斯〉巴菲特〉罗杰斯

就 work hard，有confidence 实现想法。这个跟欧洲还是很不一样的，这跟当年新移
民人群特征以及西迁的历史有很大关系。
把以上这个先说明了，再说到其实一部分美国人和社会舆论认为现在亚裔相对美国其他
族裔，更具有这个 can do attitude 的实质 -- 更具有 pioneer的开拓精神，更能够
work hard，只是confidence 上相对缺了一点。 |
