Last if you travel alot, let me know which route choice is better:
I am picking up a friend's kid from front royal, we can take either 81 to
Harisburg and using 76 to Philly or back to baltimore and take 95 to Philly.

Anyone stayed there before, we only plan to be there for 1 or 2 nights, so
not a big deal.
I actually care more if we can find a good place to eat on our way there and
on the way back. (I think Philly should have better chinese food to offer
than DC, since there are kids involved, I don't mind a buffet place that we
can get in, eat and get out quickly) |

了。
但是有那种灯芯绒裤子降价了，我记得夏天时是新款上市，16两条的，现在4.99一条，
我今天去的时候，3t的很多都没有了，18个月以下的最多，4t的也很多，是纯棉的，裤
子是松紧带另有可调节的带子，颜色有白、淡黄、棕色、蓝灰色，可以去他家网站上看
，我娃以前试穿过，挺好看的。
今天又去买了4条，外加两件翻领t恤，也是4.99。
不知道他们还会不会上新货，上次的牛仔裤，就是不断补充上去的。
这两次去，都给了15%off的coupon，从14日可以开始用。
jack and jannie, najjie什么的也说是在打折，不过可挑的东西不多，价格也贵，
children’s place经常能淘到白菜，可是每次结账时我还是要吐血。。。。。
2岁以后娃长得就慢了吧？是不是买一件可以穿一年啊？ |

星巴克，排队都排到街上了 -- 凄风苦雨中。
每次去总是觉得奇怪：
一、那里的蔬菜水果海鲜都很贵，他们怎么卖得动？不可能是游客买的，而本地人为何
要去那里买？难道是品质明显比超市的好？
当然，这问题的答案可能与经典的 ”大型连锁超市 vs. 本地小店“ 答案有关 --- 有
的美国人就是要抵制大型连锁店，故意去本地小店买东西。Pike Place Market 的那些
小店就是因为这个而得以存活？？？
（几个卖果酱的摊子生意不错，这不难理解，至少产品有特色。其他几家卖橄榄油与醋
的也不错，试吃了几种，连我这种非吃货都差点想买。）
二、那家抛鱼的就更神奇了，虽然人气很旺，但都是围观的，真买的好像不多。我常怀
疑这抛鱼的噱头究竟是帮了他们还是毁了他们的生意？（当然，人家在那里几十年没倒
掉，至少说明生意还是不差。但我自忖，如果我要买海鲜，我宁愿去隔壁安安静静地选
购，而不是在众目睽睽的压力下买东西。你呢？） |

Barington Place 的房子放掉。我朋友问我是否有兴趣考虑一下那个房子。其实我和老
婆也在考虑是否买房子，因为小孩快要学爬了，租得公寓实在是小，还是想让她有个大
点的地方活动。
略问了一下朋友，她说那个朋友给她说了下，那房子的appraisal value是133K, SQFT:
1800+，3 bed, 2 bath, 室内有木地板，大概85年建的房子。
和老婆商量了一下，感觉价格也在咱家的经济承受范围内，空间也能满足咱家的需求，
但对那地方不太了解。上星期开车去看了下，感觉环境不错。但还是希望多做点功课后
再和朋友的朋友详聊。
请教各位，Barrington Place这地方治安怎样？学区怎样？还有其他的资料等等（我也
不知道要注意什么，第一次买房子，也没有经验的。还是请教各位告知了，谢谢） |

从以前学生时代到现在身为一个上班族，每到夏天最期待的就是加拿大国庆日的长假期
，因为在 7月1日那天总是有许多有趣的庆祝活动，而每年最期待的莫过于在加拿大广
场 (Canada Place) 举办的庆典。
虽然不是土生土长的加拿大人，但是也在这个国家生活了快20年，对这个国家有了特别
情感，所以到了7月1日这天总是会穿上红色，到加拿大广场与大家一起表示对加拿大的
喜爱，今年也不例外，一定要好好的庆祝一下! 当然，也会建议新移民朋友一起参与，
感受一下这个国家的热情。
今年是加拿大的 145岁生日，为了这个里程碑，加拿大广场将献上一连串老少皆宜的活
动，在2010年冬奥闭幕典礼上出现而大受欢迎的大水獭将重返加拿大广场，民众也可以
参与 Canuck Road活动，与踩着高跷的冰上曲棍球员一较高下。
不过，对非加拿大出生的我，每年最喜欢的活动就是集体宣誓，看着好不容易拿到公民

registered handicap is 12. I shot my handicap. The field had 15 players. The
net winner was -5. The gross winner was -1. The course was played at a muni
course. So many single handicap shot 80s.
The guy in my group won the net first place. Last time he played was the
Ratter Cup. It was amazing. He took back home with about $625. |

interested in seeing how well bosco and pitton will perform. i absolutely
adore edita, much more so than gioia, but they do get overshadowed by the
powerful italians. when bosco and pitton learn to soften and mature their
dancing, there is really no stopping them from taking over first place.

话说今年公司培训大家伙儿的团队领导能力，就让我们看了the last place on earth
来学习，还请了老师一边看一边讲解。
电影在youtube上能搜到，可惜字幕都是youtube自己生成的，不准确的部分相当多，勉
强凑合看着，应该大致能明白内容的。
电影说的是真人真事，描述了上个世纪初两位探险家——英国人Scott和挪威人
Amundsen——前往南极点（也就是所谓的the last place on earth，当时唯一一片未
被人类探索过的地点）的比赛。电影的倾向性其实是很明显的，连音乐都能反映得出来
。两位探险家主角被当作团队领导的教材来讲解，倒是颇具趣味的。而参加培训的同事
们的反应，尤其有趣。这里就摘选其中几段说说大家的议论好了。
两人的出场就对比鲜明。Scott原本是战舰舰长，因为指挥的战舰沉没而被免职（面对
