TRENTON, N.J. — The frozen remains of two mice injected with the organism
that causes plague have not been accounted for seven weeks after being
discovered missing at a University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey
facility in Newark, the university said Friday.
The FBI investigated and determined there was no risk to public health or
any indication of the terrorist link.

两个很小，一个有点大。现在医生开了降血脂的药，说是要终生服药。我爸六十五岁，
平常又吸烟又喝酒，倒还比较注意运动，之前有胆结石、高血压。我想问的是：
1. 又有高血脂又有plague，最大的风险是不是脑梗和中风？需要怎样防治？除了吃药
平常还要注意些什么？吃鱼油管用吗？
2. 终生服用降血脂的药会不会有副作用？比如伤肝？或者对肠胃、胆囊有什么影响？
3. 这是不是相当于随时揣着个定时炸弹？那他还能坐飞机来美国吗？对生活质量有什
么影响？
话说我爷爷一辈子不吸烟不喝酒非常注意锻炼，也是中风引起脑溢血去世的，难道这个
也遗传？！

Wrong. Fleas don't carry the plague bacteria, rodents do. Fleas bring the
bacteria to human, but the spread of plague over wide areas is only possible
because of rodents. |
