昨晚那集有很多信息。wakefield写的abby老妈怀了他的孩子，并没有说明是女儿。所
以我当时的感觉就是这是个误导，其实信里所说的孩子并不是指的abby，而是指的
wakefield的儿子！我觉得这个儿子很可能就是henry或jimmy中间的一个。
wedding planner安慰小女孩的那个动作非常可疑，小女孩说的关于abby警察爸爸的话
，估计就是planner教给她说的。另外trophy wife的死，当时在场的疑犯就只有
wedding planner和shane，而shane肯定不是凶手。 |

你的方法不错。
不过我可能刚开始不能天天４０mile.
估计每骑４０mile休息一天，比如今天一天骑车来回，明早开车上班，下午／后早骑车
，这样一直到身体完全适应为止（估计得到明年夏天）
如果说storage, 尾架＋planner不错。不过planner不好随身携带（也不好看）。最好
搞个单肩书包＋planner两用的，amazon上有，不过就是贵点。 |

起，我刚好最近参加了考试，总结一下经验，斑竹看着mark发几个包子就好了。
AICP=American Institute of Certified Planners
You have to be an APA member to get into the exam. APA=American Planning
Association
我自己是工程背景，机缘巧合拿了planning的学位，所以工作两年后（比PE的工作5年
要求宽松多了）可以报名。报名过程很痛苦，需要写很多东西，类似个人essay。
报名通过后,可以参加考试,170道选择题,150道计分,3个小时完成全部。
APA这个组织比较好玩，报名要求的第一条，就是考验你是否为了大众利益，所以大方
向就是你要学会他们的死嗑、使拌精神。比如报名的时候写自己的经历，虽然网站上说
Internship可以算工作经验，但是实际上他们在审查你的资质的时候给你使拌，硬说不
算，你去appeal，可以，等3个月，其实一个月后下次报名就截止了。

参观那个蒙氏小学的时候，他们有这么一个系统
每个礼拜一早晨，老师和孩子one on one一起制定一周的计划，
每个孩子有一本花里胡哨的planner book，
里面自然是周一到周五，每天也被分为一段一段的。
老师和孩子商量着一起填进这一周要做的tasks，
到了自由学习时间，孩子们就跑去拿来自己的planner book照着做。
老师说，虽然每一个时间段里都安排了事情，但是孩子可以自由选择这周的tasks，
做完一样老师sign off。
下一个周一review，调整。
我觉得也许家里也可以引进这个system, 但是家长毕竟没有老师的权威，实施起来恐怕
有些不容易。

The only acceptable way of using financial planner is a straight hourly fee
based model. You pay for his knowledge and that's it.
having said that, i think all Chinese coming to US should be smart enough to
manage on their own. Just need to spend some time to learn.

investor, needs to pay.
I personally would never use CFAs or planners. If I get 10M tomorrow, the
only person I would talk to would be a CPA.
Just because it worked out for you for a few years doesn't mean anything.
If I win lottery some day, I wouldn't jump up and down, telling everyone go
buy lottery ticket.

就个人而言，对financial adviser，特指financial planner，没有任
何偏见。恰恰相反，我认为他们和医生律师一样提供了及其有价值的服务。有些
人的确不需要他们的服务，但是很多人完全可以得益于他们的服务，却出于各种
原因没有这么做，是很可惜的。
但是，现实是，存在一些以financial adviser为名，行传销之实的人，败坏
了这个行业在普通工薪阶层中的声望。更何况，很多真正的financial
planner也是拿commission而不是fee，令人无法信任会完全站在客户的立场
作建议。
至于active fund manager，那完全是另外一回事。不否认有大牛会给客户
带来巨大的利益，但是作为总体平均而言基本上就是passive回报率，而选大牛
就是另一个游戏了。这个前面已经讨论很多了，也不用多说。
理解你作为这个行业的一员的立场，不过你把两个问题混在一起，并用“存在便
是真理”这种论据来推出，我不觉得任何说服力。 |

发帖数: 4525 | 31 多谢指点。现在主要考虑的是国内这个行业的门槛比较低，另外入门工资待遇什么都很
低。所以想在这边积累几年经验之后回国，这样我自己认为可能会对今后的发展更有利。
所以想留下来找工作。开始比较倾向的是account planner。因为研究生阶段更多的在
做这个，一少部分时间做了一部分marketing research。但发现account planner比
marekting research更难找。所以才有了转向marketing research的想法。因为自己觉
得美国人对数字的敏感度比较低，可能会有一些机会出来。但是现在实际情况也不是很
乐观。感觉跟统计的人竞争数学方面的只是弱了一些，跟美国人竞争语言方面也不是强
项。感觉夹在中间出不来的感觉。所以想寻求一些过来人或者对这个行业有所了解的人
帮忙指点一下。希望能找到一个新的突破点接着努力找工作。 |

buyer到现在的Planner，基本什么都做过了，也什么都学完了。所以现在想换个大公司
，想要福利好一点的，能够有一些新的东西可以学一下。还有就是和有些同事的关系不
是很好，大家也知道做Operation的都是做坏人的。上星期和老板说了要走，老板极力
挽留。老板知道我是做得太累了，压力大所以想走，所以他说会请两个人来帮我，另外
他还说了一个我完全没有想到的问题。
他说有人想要买我们这家公司，而且已经谈到合约的阶段了，估计再2、3个月就会定案
了。如果卖出去了，他打算将他收入的10%拿出来分给他最信任的4个员工，他说我就说
其中一个。他没有明确说这笔钱有多少，他只是说如果分到这笔钱，那之后2、3年不干
活也没有问题，所以我是估计大概是20-25万左右。因为我们公司一年的营业额有1千万
，今年还特别好，至少要有1千2百万的样子，所以我是估计怎么样公司也至少卖个1千
万，那10%再分4分的话就是25万了。
但是如果想要拿这笔钱，那就要在公司卖出后还要逗留至少18个月，因为老板和买方谈
