a similar problem and learned a few things. If you haven't tried this,
please start with the simplest thing: pull out your air filter and see if it
improves. If you are using some good filters, such as the pleated filter
from Costco, the chance is the filter is blocking air flow. You may want to
use a different type of filter. |

隔热不错。jc penny 买的。
我在bed bath beyond看见有一款窗帘挺漂亮的，但是单层的, grommet top。不知是否
应该也不错。反正现在都是双层玻璃，所以隔热不应该是个问题。
请问大家窗帘布是选双层的还是单层的？在哪儿买的？多谢。 |

提醒各位需要定期换FURNACE Filter(空气过滤网/Air Filter), 每年至少得换二次，
冬季和夏季来领前。filter 不需要买最好的，贵的FILTER 不见得实用，最常用的如
Pleat Filter 会阻挡Furnace 的 Airflow，到了二楼，风量就会更小，Furnace 和 冷
气机的 总体效能会降低。如要求不是很高，普通的 Fiberglass Filter 即可。按装时
看清方向，FILTER上指明的箭斗方向须朝向暖气机. 换filter 时顺便把暖气机前面上
下两块面板打开来，用吸尘器把周围的灰尘吸干净，如可能改换成小吸管，把 看到的
几个圆洞 也吸一下，吸管伸得越深效果越好，靠近点火器的那个洞要特别小心，最近
15年的暖气机点火器（hot surface ignitor)大部分都是陶瓷财料做的，相当脆嫩，很
容易断掉, 如果你估计吸尘器管可能会碰到点火器，建议你不要清那块位置。 清理完

Auto.
每两周换一下filter, filter 不一定需要买很贵的，3-5 元左右即可，整箱买(12个)
还会便宜点。还有一些其它的改进方式，班上也经常提到的。
至于管道清洗的话，做总比不做好，清洗后到底效果好到啥程度，没有标准的。
在风口位置可以自己清理。 |

但如果使用pleated filter 的话，每3个月需要换一次。这种filter 很容易堵。
你指的那种filter 我还没真正用过，也没法给你任何参考，但这种filter 需要勤换。 |

aprilaire media filter 和这个不是一个级别的。这个是真正的Air Purifier，就是
学妈和天骄经常提到的portable Air Purifier 和Pleated filter 疑似达到的MERV 级
别等等，不过这是装在中央管道上的，效率完全不一样，在filter的旁边还有一个类似
于等离子发生器的玩艺，对过敏啥的非常的有效。这台PGAP-1600cfm 的我有用过一段
时间。filter很贵，7，80刀一个，一年最好换两次。 |

如果用一个filter，一般用什么材料的？我看到lowe's上的主要是3M的pleated，高级
点的是带静电的，材料是不是都是一样的？我们的师傅不建议我们用太密的，因为容易
堵住，我们也没有allergy。
他推荐不要用那种纸的，应该用类似绒的，我也不清楚那种叫什么材料。
我想用一个10刀左右MERV8的，30天换一个应该差不多吧。

home depot 询价 给了一个大概是 $ 23000.
房子大小是1900- sqft.
刚买的房子.
一侧是 一个living room 和2楼一个bedroom 貌似是 加建出来的. 地基没有cross
space. 中间没有夹层(是这么叫么). 另外一侧是有cross space 和夹层.
来看的人说加建那边的很难弄. 只能在一侧 开个两个洞. 在楼上 bedroom开两个洞.
楼上的restroom 就不弄.
有cross space 的地基 那边还好弄. 一个主卧(restroom) 两个次卧+ 1 restroom. 开
放式厨房和一个living room 是在一起的.
价格方面是不是有点太贵了? 谢谢.
