When you play games like craps, you throw "two dice" (plural) at once.
I don't know why you want to throw the "ball", so I'm not sure how to

but with a French gluttural "r" if you know how to
pronounce that.
"d'oeuvre" sounds approximately like "dövr"; the French
"oe" or the German "ö" sound alike, which is pronounced
by setting your cheeks and lips to the shape of
pronouncing a pure "o" (like a Mandarin "o" but not an
English "ou"), and at the same time setting your tongue
and teeth to try to pronounce a long "ee".
There is no "r" between the "oe" and the "v"; the "r"
