发帖数: 464 | 3 我住这里呀。我家是Meritage（不知道拼错了没有），房子就是外观太单一了（不过新
的model挺好看的）。lot小些，但是房子便宜啊，绿化啥的可能比不了cinco ranch，
但是HOA 就575，人家要1000多。playground小了点，不过可以去马路对面的pine mill
ranch玩，那边中国人更多。但是pmr小点的新房子离高压线比较近了，所以就选了
silver ranch.
sr有大的lot，性价比很高，当时买房子太急了，没去看大房子，直接签了这家。话说
这家的房子真的很节能，夏天开两个空调电费最高的时候是120，平时都满低。
中国人大概有快20户了。学区挺好。就是逛街不太方便，除了katy mill，其他的店都
有点远。 |

5.8手枪弹46 grain 450m/s初速也就还不到1500ft/s，也有说460m/s(刚过1500ft/s)。
.357 SIG 115 grain 470m/s初速，也就是1550ft/s。2.5倍的弹头重量，还能有略高的
初速，这弹头载能会多高啊。5.8手枪弹还会世界第一？5.8这点初速靠硬钢芯穿甲，和
其它铅弹打上就扁掉的比穿甲有意思吗，5.7x28,4.6x30初速都是七八百m/s的钢芯弹还
没露一手呢。.357 SIG用上钢芯你5.8还敢咋的。
拿它和.357 SIG比因为初速非常接近，目标内的临时空腔形成效果差不多，弹头重体积
大的空腔更大的可能性也高。其实装药量有限的手枪弹初速高不起来，杀伤机理基本就
是penetration和expansion，临时空腔没有什么大用。(步枪轻弹头中小口径加上上了
一个数量级的初速，弹头进入目标后的破坏机理和手枪弹非常不同)临时空腔在
Ballistic Gel慢镜头里看的比较清楚，手枪弹的临时空腔最后都收缩到很小，步枪弹

was able to see Mt Jefferson from Rainier. He was on his way down, already
past Crater Rock. It should be very benign terrain. Not sure what exactly

. Additionally, I will add Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) and
general surgery in his list.
Prelim surg is relatively easier to get by match. But during the scramble,
it will become very hot as well, and you will have less choice or control.
So if I were you, I would apply earlier.
The disadvantage of prelim surg is that, usually it has very heavy working

your own PGY1 (preli year) somewhere. Although we might apply to different

one? This question is very complex. You are unmatched. But the programs
usually do not set themselves in such dilemmas. If one advanced program such
as neuro or rad really likes you and you are an IMG at the same time, PD or
chair usually advises you to apply TYP or preliminary int med in the same
university. They usually give a phone call to int med PD and ask him/her to

Prelim surgery is the most malignant, labor-heavy residency position among
all.
-You are free labor. You do all the dirty work,floor work.
-You will never go into the OR as a prelim intern.
-No guarantee for anything.
-I know people who did 3 year prelim surgery and still no categorical spot
available.
(This is strictly referring to people who wants categorical surg spot, not
people who will be going into specialties as PGY-2,like radio,anesthesia,PMR

and happy too early when you get a couple of interviews.

neurology. TY is basically like M4 year. AMG like TY coz it is much lighter
than prelim IM or surg. The drawback of TY is also obvious. It is
noncreditable for anything. If you finish 1 yr prelim TY and switch to IM,
you have to redo 1 yr PGY1 again. For IMGs, prelim IM is more flexible if
you do not have advanced program. GL ya'all. |
