poet 海子 （Hai Zi） killed himself at the age of 25 about 20 years ago.That
was a shame. I liked his poem "面朝大海，春暖花开", which was a lot more

The trail is quiet. For miles there is not a person to be seen.
The clouds are still heavy but the rain has tampered off.
The air is moist and cool and when you get up to speed it chills

个人灌点哈)的thomas不同，frost生前即久负盛名，是真 正的“显学”，值此双鱼良
辰，好奇一下翻frost生日居然是我羊座友，哈哈。标题就是附会这两位偶像。囧，之
前真不好像想白羊座的诗人是什么样子底，frost这样奇怪又丝毫不隐晦的风格倒是蛮
称我们底。。。
活跃在上世纪的美国新英格兰诗人frost，有许多称号，其中我喜欢的有恐怖诗人，戴
面具的诗人等。源自他爱好装出一幅乡巴老的样子，用literally日常的词语徜徉在田
园风光中，却每每叩问都城内intellectual们心灵深处隐秘的弱点。从星座角度看，
frost的诗非常单纯直截，会聚一点 ，就是探讨一般道德、伦理之外貌似形而上的人类
困境，比如引用虑高(但是我本人莫有感 觉）的，在他白羊的简
单世界里，这些困境不需要具体的社会、人物；一条林间小路已经足够诗人困惑--也止

发帖数: 2932 | 29 以前卡发卡的短篇小说我非常佩服。中篇看过汉译－－不知道是不是翻译的关系，觉得
很干涩。
最近也看看英译，发现中篇也是非常厉害。佩服佩服！
他给我印象最深的倒不是情节的荒诞，吸引我的也不是情节；而是写法。可惜我只能从
英译揣测了。
以前看到评价说kafka很少用修辞，比如说，很少会看到比喻；这我也有体会，另外修
饰都很简单，没有长句，没有反问。平铺直叙，用词全部通常－－喜欢看恐怖片的都有
体会，恐怖片中最可怕的都是日常镜头，因为这些日常镜头暗示观众－－那些恐怖离他
们自以为安全的生活并不远。不知道是不是kafka的写法也有类似效果，没有奇特的词
，修辞压缩到最简--总之，好像在将语言推到极限。
他的人物塑造我也觉得很有意思。个人妄词：有时候使我想起poe，他们的人物的特点
是没有鲜明特性。
比如在不同的小说里，很难区别那些主人公。
他们的人物在每本小说里有不同的名字和角色，有不同的遭遇；但是性格相似，行为相
似。
不过kafka的人物更像日常普通人，而poe的人物都比较奇特不像存在过的活人。

的编辑要求他不要用形容词副词，形成他以后的简洁文风。
卡夫卡和poe，我觉得他们的情节都挺离奇的。人物的确都是平常人，但因为情节离奇
，我就不当作平常人似的。文字是有点像，都挺不动声色。
这两句英语哪里来的？非常赞同用字的准确性，余华也认为这是文学最重要的：“对一
个作家来说，最重要的是准确，他一定要把自己要想写的东西，用一种最准确地方式表
达出来。那是最能够感人、最能够吸引人的一种手段。”pound这一段很体现他们现代
派的观点，他和t.s.eliot还有yeats都是这个观点，算是对浪漫主义的矫正吧，觉得文

南大历史系对这批人，高华那个年龄段的，曾几何时都不那么客气。副教授搞很多年都
搞不上去。
高华算是扬眉吐气的，红太阳一出，据说是那个有名的人啊，我一下子想不起名字来了
，碰见南大当年的校长，问，你们的高华很牛啊，书写得很好啊。校长竟然都不知道是
谁，回来一问，才知道是个副教授。
很多搞历史的人如其人，研究先秦的，气质洒脱，无所拘束，但又不是那种非得较着劲
跟现实不合作的。
研究共产党史的，像高华，就是深入人的内心，有一股字人世通透的味道，但又不
cynical。
记得你以前写过一个Dead Poets Society的影评，说起老师对学生的影响，全说出我的
感受啊。
还有，一个月前，给朋友带到了纽约的一个酒吧，竟然就叫Dead Poet Society，立刻
就想起这部电影来了。呵呵。 |

高华的课还上过。两门。本人有魅力，上课也非常好。这还是在他真正出名以前。当时
觉得他不会久居人下，我慧眼吧。 呵呵。
他有自己的想法观点，材料熟悉，最重要的是有common sense，是用人心来观察人，分
析人，所以历史在他手里活灵活现，不是那些生硬的数据。他讲毛，讲共产党史，真是
漂亮。
后来离开了南大，据说是去华南师大？但是好像后来又说手续没有办成。后来，又听说
健康有问题。但是回国没缘分见到他。
他相貌英俊，声音好听，打扮很正，是知识分子格，但是不迂腐，不夸张，他是我最喜
欢的老师之一。

Robin Williams, an Academy Award-winning actor and comedian who imbued his
performances with wild inventiveness and a kind of manic energy, died on
Monday at his home in Marin County, Calif. He was 63.
The county sheriff’s office said in a statement that it “suspects the
death to be a suicide due to asphyxia.” A further investigation was under
way.

20th century french/spanish poets. Quite a few chinese poets are influenced
by those "surrealists", then they mixed the symbol/images with Chinese
traditional images, that's why you could see

For me, it's the rich "texture" of words mixing emotion/fairy tale/folklores
/consciousness that is so interesting..... People mix them subconsciously
