发帖数: 3348 | 7 周末去了一个bed and breakfast。有好几个旅店可以选择，最后定了这一家就是因为
这里养了5只猫。住了两晚上，一共看见其中的4只。我们的早饭晚饭都是坐在porch上
和猫猫一起吃的。很愉快的一个周末，猫猫们功不可没。当然也很想念家里的牛牛。贴
点照片和大家分享一下。照片这次都是小相机拍的。
猫一号。16岁的老奶奶Susie。她每天要吃4顿，每次吃下面照片里那个碗满满一碗的罐
头加一点vitamin powder.可是还是瘦的皮包骨头，我开始还以为没人喂她呢。
Susie是这里最老的猫了，其他的猫都要听她的。吃饭时候她先吃，其他猫在一边等着
。她不高兴的时候别的猫都不敢靠近。
相比粘人的猫二号来说，susie更加独立一些，他不会主动往你身上凑。晚上我在porch
上看书上网，她就安安静静坐在摇椅的扶手上陪着我。非常乖。后来我进屋了，她还在
扶手上待了好一会儿才离开。
猫二号，两三岁的白猫，很粘人。我刚坐下来，他就自己跳我膝盖上来了。我们吃饭的
时候没少喂他。
猫三号，很害羞的长毛黑猫。第一天早上见到他的时候，他正目光炯炯地向后面的小花
园跑去。我们跟着他，他轻车熟路得来到池塘 |

我又开始担心不好trap了
怀疑小猫前阵子受伤了，不能来吃饭。同事说，昨天看到瘦了好多。所以非常想赶紧trap了，该治病治病去。

下过一晚上大雨之后，小猫就再也没来过
猫妈妈出现的很晚，吃的很少
猫粮被吃掉的少了一半多
不知道发生了什么
联系的rescue再我回了最后一封email以后就没动静了。我已经表示，只要他们出人trap，我会继续喂他们。但是不知道为什么，还是不理我了
反正这两天可能猫吓坏了，也不按时间来了，小猫也不见了。
我也只好等着了

小孩给了他点吃的喝的，然后他去不走了。
快晚上了，我说带他到小区走一圈吧，没准他找到家，就回去了。
于是慢跑，小狗一直跟着。到半路和邻居聊了两句，然后小狗就不见了。我心想他肯定
是找到回家的路了。于是继续往前跑一圈回家。
结果他提前跑回我家后院。我就叫小孩给他在PORCH搭了个小窝，让他过夜。
早上一看，人正在门口等着进门吃东西呢？
怎么办？问了一圈，没人认识。小东西正在PORCH睡觉呢。 |

今年的夏天太舒服了。华氏90度以上就没有几天。偏凉的夏天也导致了菜园子里的蔬菜
成熟得比往年晚了不少。往年这个时候长豇豆茄子都上了餐桌，今年才刚看到花朵；而
四季豆该过了季节，现在却花叶茂盛。只有太太栽在大门口porch边上的三棵黄瓜没有
让人失望，不停地产出，每周能供应三碟凉拌黄瓜。都八月初了，快过了今年种第三茬
的季节，不能再等下去了。
周末的天气真好，白天七十八九度，晚上五十七八度。叫上太太，把快接近尾声的四季
豆下狠心拔了，用铁锹翻耕一遍，再用猪八戒的十齿钉耙把泥块打散，种上萝卜，油菜
和雪里红，这就是今年的最后一茬了。萝卜不必移栽，只要土松，能往下面长就行。这
个季节的油菜其实也不必移栽了，只要种子撒得稍微稀一点就可以。要是生长期间一直

灯是自己出钱和维护， 我们这个社区bylaw要求每家小路、车库和后院 porch lights,
backyard lights必须在天黑后、天亮前开着， 主要是为了安全着想（其实我们这小
