发帖数: 6659 | 1 上个月买东西比较多，每次都会用portal赚一些cash back。这个月账单出来以后发现
其实好多都没有post出来，自己分析了一下，简单总结总结，大家有别的tips也请re一
下。
1. 查cash back可以从cashbackmoniter.com开始，最左边一栏是cash back，后面几栏
是points、miles等。这个网站每天都更新rate，所以建议在shopping之前查看。
2. 查到最高的cash back不一定就能拿到，一定要看exclusion&special term。比如
discover经常是最高的10%以上，但是网站明确写了不能跟其他的promo code合用，并
且必须使用discover卡。实际操作中发现后者并不是必须的，但前者则非常严格。我一
单Kohls一单Gap都没有给算cash back。discover允许你file claim，但是里面有一项
明确问了是不是使用了其他的promo code，我试着file了两个并且说没有用code，预测
不会work。

没有附带portal test environment software.
IBM网上说需要passport advantage账户才能下载portal test environment software
， 但我没有这个账户。
搜了网上也没有找到portal server 的评估版下载，IBM提供的portal express不能用
于开发和调试。
有谁有评估版Portal server吗？ 我非常想需要这个软件，哪位大侠帮帮忙，万分感谢！

，资源共享，最后形成一个内部的知识库。
老实说，现在做的portal和当年的MIS没有什么区别。只不过技术更新而已。
web logic portal的介绍上说：
"to improve productivity and reduce cost by integrating and simplifying
information service".
呵呵，这样定义portal可就广了去了。
weblogic portal的功能模块包括：content management, search, collaboration,
interaction management and commerce.
a few million dollars? 随便几个公司的project就不止这么多了吧，如果全行业就这
么小块饼，我想没人做了。

发帖数: 5290 | 8 这些portal只关心他们自己能不能拿到commission，拿到了就给你，不然没戏。在垃圾
网站面前没什么好的portal。比如6pm经常就以你是reseller为理由拒付，什么portal
也没用。还有就是信用卡的portal一般一个statement就拿到了，不用pending.
像shopdiscover也是，如果你的promo code void commission你就拿不到，用不用
discover卡只关系到你能不能argue。不过不是说快死了，也无所谓了。
当然像topcashback这类的还是躲开为妙。 |

we provide this kind of publishing service, but we dont call it portal either.
we have weather/news/financial portals just showing some news/information with
customization functionality... and there might be other product...
and the most important, IMHO, thoes 1-4 you mentioned down there, dont worth
much money... as the price tag for portal is not that low and many firms are
buying them, so I am still confused. |

觉得比WEBLOGIC PORTAL差了不少.
现在我对.NET的整体感觉就是基本的
架子是搭起来了,IDE也很不错,但是
真正有利于二次开发的平台还不存在.
有些东西象CMS SDK,CRM SDK,很不错,
但是过于专门化了,SHAREPOINT PORTAL
又很弱.
对这些比较了解的大虾能不能谈一谈? |

和APPLICATION SERVER捆绑, 计算纯粹的PORTAL REVENUE 和

但是shopdiscover规定要求用discover卡的，不然可能不给shopdiscover那部分
discover走Amex结账，应该是discover可能不给而Amex会给。

But for government, newspaper, radio station, they have a workflow like this:
1. collect informaiton by professionals who is not computer geek
2. they fill the content using a pre-defined template.
3. the portal can publish the content online
4. at the same time, the portal can generate the pdf file for hard copies.
So basically,
Model: raw data
Control: work flow
View: online web pages, pdfs, report ...

要不大家一起来做一个Portal的框架？ 从Java的portal solution，还有zope那里提取有
益
的东西，结合.Net框架和C#的特性，做一个框架。
我前一阵为了弄明白zope为何能拿到那些大客户，用C#重写zope来着。
在ZODB那里开了个头，觉得没有很多新意，比较有趣的是那个storage interface. 但是
很显然这个interface我们也可以用C#或Java来实现。
我想ZOPE优胜的地方是：
1. 操作界面很简单，大部分用户都熟悉。用户的学习时间短。
2. Python相对简单，很多一般的用户都可以自己写扩展。 |
