不懂具体是啥意思， 也不好意思再问了， 呵呵。

发帖数: 218 | 2 大家好，不好意思，我的ID可能比较陌生。虽然我经常来这里看，因为是车迷，但是理
论知识有限，不敢发言。Anyway，很久前我奔过我的 MB E430，后来被人反向车道迎头
head on，车子没事，但是body 修起来比较贵（那时车已经不值钱了），所以
insurance total 在2010 年到现在开的是 ML430。这车1999的，不过excellent
condiiton,非常reliable。四年来只换了后刹车，电池，一个 crank shaft posiiton
sensor 和 oil filter housing seal，一点毛病都没有。
不过个人还是有点怀念 sport sedan的感觉，2月前买了 2004 BMW 745i sport。Sorry
，本人吊死一个，虽然钱也够，总喜欢捡便宜折腾。于是卖掉了ML430，手上只有这辆
745了。可能因为没做功课的原因，也可能原来的两辆MB质量太好，接手这辆 745后毛
病不断。Test drive 的时候没问题，再加上第二任车主有 extended warranty 不久前

why not try Zurich ETHZ or Geneva Univ
within Swaziland at least 3-4万 usd more than States on the similar
AP/PI posiiton even income tax is higher than States
but Swiss AP/PI while visit States for conference s/he can spend more
private
usd than States' AP/PI.. lol |

确实不是什么牛校出身,自然也就没什么机会接触到大公司的on campus recuiting,但
烂船也有三分钉,觉得自己是懂东西的.而反而在现在的公司,自己在行的东西没能发挥
出来,因为小公司还用不上. 所以公司就自然觉得,这个posiiton并不需要什么大牛人.
我觉得,现在的这个position只要smart点的IT bachelor就能应付,加之又是startup,公
司自然从职位考虑.
另一方面,老板确实是在take advantage of国际学生的廉价和身份问题.楼上说的对,
subsitute确实很多,就是因为有这么多质量好的subsitute,就让价值贬低了.我觉得老
板并不是想赶人走,不然也不会浪费那么多时间弄offer letter,弄insurance,弄H1(我
还是相信他会弄H1的,因为他多次promise,除非人能无齿到这种地步). 我觉得他是真觉
得国际学生过来就是为了生存,有点像讨饭,所以觉得给你点钱,给你办个身份,就是已经

My H1b has been three and half years. Currently I am working as a contractor
or say consultant. I am looking for permanent job (laid off last year) and
focus on academic jobs, schools/hospitals, staff posiiton,not faculty.
Recently, I heard of that most schools/hospitals do not sponsor GC process
for staff positions.
My question is: if I got a job in academia that does not sponsor GC

是不是高校的position都是granted fund的,没fund,posiiton就没了?我这个项目是和
政府合作的,合作10年了.给政府员工做退休金 |

employment letter证明有permant posiiton就可以了？
现在搞了4个独立推荐信，一个西班牙的 （用了我的方法），一个克罗地亚的（邀请我
写chapter，说是因为优秀才邀请的等），2个中国的（一个在review paper里大量引用
我的东西）。。。这样行不行啊，没有美国的。。。
此外，在美国的一个华人编辑给写了一个证明review的信。。。
然后就是phd期间的老板 （中国人）推荐信。。。
公司老板不让自己申绿卡，非要通过公司给我申请，因此不太愿意给我写推荐信自己办
卡。。。倒霉。。。 |

，和posiiton。问了问我目前的工作。人事面试中，问了salary和availability，所以
他没问。最后说要review一下candidates，问我when do you expect to hear from
him. 我说1-2 weeks is OK。 |

that job. why not take it? circuit designer is definitely a more promising
posiiton than device engineer, much easier to find jobs in the future. plus
usually the circuit designer has better pay than device engineer. |
