车保险分两种，liability和premium， 也就是所谓的半保和全保，liability只能用于
发生事故后赔付对方的损失（如果是你的过错的话），premium里面则包括了liability
,body injury,collision damage......多种保险，既可以赔付对方，也可以赔付自己
。如果自己有车的话而且买了保险的话，这个应该都知道。（有车没保险的，先去买了
保险再往下看吧。。。。。）明白了这个，下面的就不难理解了。
租车公司卖的保险有两种，一种是collision damage waiver（CDW），也就是说，出了
事故，无论谁的责任，你有无保险，你都不用负责你租的车的损伤，租车公司自己承担
责任。但是这个保险只能保租车公司的车的损伤，其他一概不管。

ashr或者一般的etf的基本原理我就不讲了，自己wiki或者google去。
caf或者一般封闭式基金和开放式基金的原理我也asume你们都知道或者能自学。
下面专门讲解ashr和caf的discount/premium问题。
eft的买卖有两种，一种是赎回型买卖，这种直接会影响etf的outstanding share。
这是etf的套利机制。允许大户在etf和underlying stocks之间进行套利。但这种交易
都是给大户进行的，金额要很大，手续费也贵，如果premium/discount不大的话，
大户也不常用这种方式套利。
举个例子，就算ashr今天的premium是3%，也没有几个大户会无聊到去赎回ashr基金
进行套利。因为等你过几天办完手续，这3%的premium很可能第二天第三天就不见了。
那么这个premium是怎么来的呢，这就是eft买卖的第二种方式：公开市场买卖etf，

发帖数: 1963 | 27 最近自己填报税表，才发现W2上box 12 code DD的部分，从上一年度的1.5万飙升到5万
，这个code DD是雇主和雇员一起分摊的医疗保险费，但上一年度和这一年度自付的保
费都差不多只有三四千美金（虽然自付premium本身已经比obamacare之前要贵了两三倍
），所以雇主这部分相当于飙升了三四倍了。
看来新闻里说的Obamacare导致保费飙升远比我之前认识的严重得多，这飙升不单指对
雇员自付的premium，对雇主付的premium部分飙升更厉害。
但雇主分摊的premium部分这个普通人比较难觉察到，因为只有收到年终的W2才看得到
，公司里平时也没提到这个事。感觉很多公司很难负担起每个员工这多出的3万5美金开
销啊。
好奇的是，为何雇主这部分premium的飙升比雇员那部分延迟了两年？ |

在不太确定到底是买还是lease。
如果买的话，premium package差不多是送的，因为有1500刀的discount，只针对有
premium package的车。如果lease的话，premium package没有discount。这个premium
package包括moon roof，automatic climate control和harman-kardon sound system
（总共1750刀），这三项看起来对我来说，可有可无，比较boring的司机哈，当然我也
对这几项不太了解，除了moon roof之外。

当时我建议订2辆Premium SUV，结果有个琐男以minivan舒服、安全、省油为理由反对
我订Premium SUV，我想丫其实估计就是为了那200的差价所以才反对吧？
所以最后我们分成5人一组，分别订了一辆Minivan、一辆Premium SUV。并说好两个组
的人各自负责自己车的租金 + 保险 + 油钱。
提车的时候，由于飞机误点、我们晚到了1小时，柜台的黑叔叔抱歉地告诉我们Premium
SUV已经没车了。。。然后帮我们免费升级到了Avis Signature ，给了我们一辆2014
Navigator。。。。
订Minivan的则是提到了一辆2012 Sienna。
然后我开Navigator不到30分钟就到了宾馆，而开Sienna的则是花了1小时。

1，我的也包括了401A，我觉得这个有必要加，401A有盲区检测，开这种车盲区检测非
常有用。
2，GPS我觉得也可以要，毕竟只需要800刀， 不像有些车要2000多刀。这个车的GPS可
以从手机下载车流量和事故路段信息，所以这个GPS里面的交通时间是包括了交通流量
信息的。
针对大家的回复，我觉得：
1， V6 vs Ecoboost。 从发动机本身而言，V6没什么不好，动力也差不多多少。不过
Ecoboost确实省油，我的Ecoboost高速轻松30+，现在开了2000miles，平均25.
2， 但是为什么不买V6。很简单，V6没有premium。premium很base还是差很多，很多的
。我觉得Ford 就是想推销Ecoboost，所以不给V6 premium。
3， GT vs Ecoboost。 相同配置，GT比Ecoboost贵8000. 如果有钱，当然GT。拉风，
又有力。但是GT油耗高很多。我不觉得可以买base的GT换premium的Ecoboost。因为这

发帖数: 243 | 38 我去了新公司发现paycheck没有比感觉的多。仔细看了一下发现新公司是先把工资筭税
然后再扣除medical premium的。这样导致taxable income比原来高不少，交的税也多
不少。但是好像after tax交的话明年退税公司扣的medical premium钱可以算itemized
deduction里的medical expense要回来，是不是这样的？以前都是税前叫的没退过
medical premium这项。
我算了下，假设我月收入2000，税率20%，medical premium要扣掉200。如果按照以前
pre tax交的话，我到手(2000-200) * 80 = 1440。按照现在这样的话到手2000*80-200
= 1400,实际上应该没有1400，因为2000块工资的税率肯定比前面扣掉200的1800块要
高，粗略算到手1380吧。但是如果那个200块能退税要回来的话，最后到手1380+200=
1580,反而比pretax交medical最后到手的要多不少。这样看来是不是after tax交

发帖数: 1109 | 40 7月28日被裁，当天termination date， 工作Offer 明天一早到，我明天开始和律师做
Transfer，估计28日之前 file 上去有点悬，要看HR 和律师的速度，律所的主管律师
明天还不在。律师说有可能要回中国签证（现在还不是特别理解为什么要回中国签证，
去加拿大或墨西哥签不是近很多吗？）不知道Premium Processing 对于降低回国签证
的概率的作用大不大。
我现在最关心的是宝宝太小，飞回国对宝宝的是身体太折腾，不太好。如果不Premium
Processing, 这个case 最终移民局处理下来可能要几个月的时间，到时候如果需要回
国签证，宝宝已经稍微长大一点了，五个月小孩的小孩长途飞行要比两三个月 的小孩
承受能力要稍微好点吧。 如果 Premium Processing, 很快就知道结果，如果需要回
国签证的话很快就要动身，宝宝还太小，不知道不 Premium Processing 会不会为宝宝
多争取一点长途飞行之前的成长时间。当然如果Premium Processing 可以减少被要求
回国签证的概率的话我还是很愿意考虑的。

上周律师寄出了EB1A package 到Texas Service Center. 我想用premium processing.
律师告诉我, 一般他们是收到移民局的Receive Notice一个月后, 再用premium
processing. 这其中有什么讲究和技巧?
律师又补充说, 我的case可以提前用premium processing, and it doesn’t hurt my
case. 什么意思, 我的case比较强? 请大家帮忙给个建议. 一个月有点长. 如果能早
点, 我想早点用premium processing.

Annual premium就是1年保单保费。
Term premium就是把Annual premium分期，可以是monthly,quarterly或是semi-
annually。一般来说，保险公司对缴纳annual跟semi-annual premium的不会加收额外
手续费。monthly或者quarterly会加收手续费。

我之前大概在三月份开始用（free plan带30天试用），当时只有outgoing，尚没有
incoming。outgoing就是3g或lte信号弱时会自动启用premium voice（此时拨号界面会
由freedompop app转为native dialer），当然如果感觉voip音质不好时，也可直接用
native dialer拨出（要先关闭data以防native dialer会转到freedompop app）强制启
用premium voice。 当时客服说过很快就会有incoming 支持。 我最近从一位
freedompop论坛的站友核实过（他本人在用），大概4，5月份就已经支持incoming了。
当时的价格是free plan基础上加税前3.99（或是4.99?)就有premium voice （和free
plan共用200分钟）。
这个premium voice 其实相当于rp的mad plan语音部分,没广告，直通sprint语音服务
器。 |
