如果打算买 30 年的 term，可以比较一下 30 年的 ROP
前些年经济好的时候，30 年 Term ROP 的 premium 比普通的 term 高 20%-50%， 如
果这样还可以考虑的。
现在经济差了， ROP 比 非 ROP 高一倍的 premium。 感觉不太划算 |

我的情况是这样的：
j1刚豁免，申请cap-exempt h1b，但是想快点生效，比如说明年3月15号之前，然后回一
趟国，所以必须premium processing。但是这$1225 premium processing谁出是个问题
。
我已经把所有需要的材料给了学校，现在学校在request prevailing wage form，据说
需要6－8个星期。他们的说法是，如果我现在的工资没有比prevailing wage高太多，我
自己想出这$1225都不行。那样的话只能department出，而department有可能不想出。
现在我所知道的是h1b普通是6－8个月，加急是3个月。学校告诉我说与request prevai

手续费都不计，比如目前net liquidation $10,000, xyz股票当前价格$50, 卖了个1个
put $5 at $50 strike, 这个时候IB的Net liquidation value应该还是$10,000.然后
买put的人糊涂马上excercise了put, 我账户里面出现100股xyz价格是$50, 因为当前市
场价格就是$50,这100股我不亏不赚，但因为多收premium，这个时候net liquidation
应该会jump到$10,500吧。
我意思是，IB里面的net liquidation value在naked put被执行后应该跳跃premium的
数值, 可我在我账户里面没看出来，还是需要等过了周末settle? 多谢赐教了 |

发帖数: 28013 | 42 这篇文章写得比较比我的好，更通俗易懂。但是有几个问题
1. “大户”，专业术语是AP，是出钱搞ETF的人，不是ETF issuer，这个玩家只有一个
，比如ASHR，就是DB自己。
2. 当redemption、creation的时候，玩家只有DB一个人。
3. 这个机制的成本是很低的，为什么呢。第一，这个操作和ETF issuer （通常是
broker）关联。第二，我们可以看到管理费里面的交易cost是很低的。如果交易费大于
2%，那么总体管理费就要大于2%，事实上，没有一个ETF 管理费高于2%的。
4. SPY的 premium discount低更重要的原因是liquidity高。cap size大，这样即便是
有favor出现，这个premium比例会很小。
5. 所谓的outstanding ETF shares，被驱动成premium，不仅仅是小散，ETF都是有机
构和fund参与的，他们也是通过public market也就是2级市场买卖的。至于有没有在1
及市场1开始就买了，这个不好说，但是从每月每Q的holding看，他们也是通过2及市场
买卖的。

试着用Credit Karma免费报税，发现Mortgage insurance premiums没能抵税，只有贷
款的>利息算抵税了。可是我听说Mortgage insurance premiums是可以抵税的啊。请问
这个是Credit Karma的一个bug还是这个确实就不能抵税的？ |

比如按照我的年收入，给我的保险是500每月，有100刀的premium tax credit,那么每
个月付400。然后这100刀是免费送给我的吗？还是在2018年我报2017年的税的时候要扣
回去的？换句话说，假如我2017年一共拿到1200刀的premium tax credit，那么2018年
我报税的时候要把这1200刀吐出来？

应该说问题不
大，但是因为明年想年初回国，所以想办premium，但是律师说premium会更严格，可能
要更多的材
料，所以会花更多的财力和人力。不知道大家怎么看？谢谢建议。 |

“Just to clarify, premium processing does not mean approval 15 days from
filing the extra $1000 fee. Rather, it means 15 days until any response from
Immigration – usually a Request for Evidence. It usually requires at
least two weeks to put together an effective response to Immigration’s RFE.
Then, after the response, Immigration has another 15 days to make a
decision. It certain cases I’ve heard of this year, they’ve taken even

6月底file的regular processing，等了太久10月升级到了premium processing。现在
已经15天了还是Initial review。我想问下USCIS收到Premium processing会有update
status么？还是直接从Initial review到decision？
