Wikipedia上有说明。当然它属于West Windsor Township.
Princeton 08540地址比较特别，它横跨5个Township, 分属三个county. 一个
Princeton, 08540地址可以在Princeton, West Windsor, Plainsboro, South
Brunswick或Montgomery五个不同的Township,前两个在Mercer,之后两个在Middlesex,
最后的在Somerset. 初来咋到不明白地址和学区划分没关系的可能想不通同是
Princeton 08540地址，为什么一个又小又老的房子会比一个又大又新的房子贵很多。
为什么会这样? 还是因为Princeton这个名字高大上，就算不能在Princeton上学，信封
上写上Princeton也是好的，呵呵。据agent说，同是South Brunswick学区，Princeton
地址的房子就会贵些。 |

townhome可以选择，麻烦大家给看看哪个可以出手：
1. West Windsor township, 离princeton junction train station开车10分钟，03年
的房子，价格42万，1970sq feet，3Beds, 上下两层带车库，房子是坐西北朝东南，一
层客厅和楼上两个bedroom都是窗户朝东南。联排4个townhome，夹在中间。地税一年
9000， HOA 270/month。入住之后需要换楼上的carpeting。
2. West windsor township, 离princeton junction train station开车5分钟，05年
的房子，价格50万，2020sq feet，3Beds, 上下四层带basement,车库还有loft，房子

当然按 2010 NJ MONTHLY 排名， PRINCETON 排的很差，到了40多名。如果细看
，主要是大学入学率拉低了 PRINCETON 的排名。 对老中们而言， 这项指标没
多大意义。真正牛的也是老中们最关心的指标应该是上藤校一级的比例。
PRINCETON HS 每年10多个进 PRINCETON U， 光这个在 NJ 公校里算鹤立鸡群
了。只有1，2个私校可与之媲美的。 |

但总金额差不多。

印象比较好的,全天的,有Lakeview(707 Alexander Rd, Princeton),那家是包早餐的.
Kiddie Academy也在附近(Carnegie Center).还有一家在Princeton Forrestal Campus
附近, 叫Harmony School,对princeton的员工优惠.有一个朋友的孩子在那里,设备比较
旧,但是据说老师还挺nice.
West windsor有一家比较好的Co-op，叫Dutchneck，不过co-op对夫妻俩都工作的好象
不太现实．
Princeton University里的两家，UNOW和ULeague给我们印象挺不好的，房子太破了，
光线阴暗．UNOW师生比据说是toddler是1:4，去了以后发现15-16人的toddler班，一个
leading teacher,两个helper，包括园长在内，都是老态龙钟的，就在一边颤颤微微的
看着孩子玩，也不怎么逗孩子．toddler还在用changing table(也太不安全了吧）收费
还挺贵的． |

township) would be the most convenient for you. Princeton Junction train
station is just under an hour from NYC on the express train and a 15
minutes drive from Princeton University. Places more to the north like
New Brunswick or Edison can save you 5 to 10 minutes on the train to NYC
but will add at least 30 minutes to the drive to Princeton U. |

Lawrence OB/GYN Associates离我家有些远了。
delaware valley obgyn(east windsor)看上去还行，离我家不远，他们对应的
delivery医院就是university medical center at princeton， 不知道这个医院怎么
样.
另外我找到一个plainsboro的ob，对应的医院是Saint Peter's University Hospital
，比princeton的医院远些，但是这个ob近，产检比较方便。
另外还查到到一个group，princeton obgyn，直接就在university medical center at
princeton，如果有什么问题，估计处理起来方便。
到底选哪个好呢，真是头痛。 |

据说Princeton的地都很贵啊。
学CS的，会尽量保持整洁的，尽量不熬夜。。。估计也就是晚上回来睡个觉吧。其实很
宅，会试图宅在公司。
自己还没调研过住哪里离NEC比较近，好像有个叫Edison的地比较便利吧。
Princeton的研究生们一般住哪？试了Princeton大学的bbs，好像非本校不给进。
如能告知其他更好的求租地方，也很感谢啊。

Princeton培养的相对更杂。除了trader,portfolio management,quantitative
research,还有去做IB的。因为这个专业不是financial engineering/ financial math
/ computational finance，而是finance。所以本身定位更广。
我所知道的，Princeton校友非常强。地点的确不是太重要（因为本身距离NYC也不是太
远，如果recruiter不愿意来campus，学生完全可以travel到NYC去面试，it's not a
big deal）。像GSAM这样的部门几乎一年至少进去一个。
另外其实Wall Street公司一般由于校友网络的关系，都会有一些所谓target school，
比如GS对Princeton的毕业生比较喜欢；DB对CMU的毕业生比较青睐。这些都是因为：1
，学校就业指导中心marketing做的确实好；2，校友众多，所以就互相双赢了。说一个
具体例子吧：GSAM几乎每年都有Princeton的学生进去，但是至少这几年我知道的，他

房租$590，和室友平坦utility$30-70，最早在1月30日入住.
房间位于一个house的二楼，4室2卫，需和另一名室友共用二楼的卫生间，是在
princeton university工作的男性白人室友，非常干净安静，厨房和客厅在一楼，一楼
还有两名男性室友，在附近工作，其中一名是亚裔会说中文，另一名白人。
离学校骑自行车10分钟，离princeton shopping center 步行2分钟，有超市，中餐馆
和药店手机店玩具店等。
有简单家具（床，书桌，2个柜子），是我自己的，如果不需要到时也会清空，我在这
里住了2年，感觉还是很方便安静的。

princeton附近中国餐馆不要太多，赫赫
光是tiger noodle（也叫yaya noodle）就有三家：
1号路windsor green里有个tiger noodle，主要是家常菜
27上princeton downtown也有个tiger noodle，面食类不错
206上那个yaya noodle，很多台湾菜式，挺不错的
plainsboro有个莲园，它家的排骨饭超级好吃
west windsor的wiltshire shopping center有个hot wok cafe，它家的炸豆腐超级好
吃，牛肉面也不错
1号路上mercer mall里有个han sushi，中国人开的，很好吃(不过这算日本菜了）
还有个小四川还是什么的，不好吃。。。赫赫
还有个east buffet，在槟城正对面
再往南，还有个什么wok的忘了，一般吧
然后附近就是你说的world buffet和川妹子了,其实world buffet不远还有个china
buffet

review吧。要租私人的condo, townhouse之类的，princeton周围也很多，上trulia看
看，有的agent做这个。总之princeton附近环境还好，你还是要自己去看看，leasing

不知道选哪个比较好呢
Princeton Medical Group, 5个女ob，2个男ob。
Princeton OB/GYN, 2个男ob，1个女ob。
预约的时候都不给约某一个医生，说每次去遇见哪个医生就哪个医生看，生的时候也一
样。
有没有知道这两家的jms，能提供一些信息吗？
选OB有没有需要注意的地方？

发帖数: 443 | 50 Princeton Junction房子也好，环境好好，但是上班需要一个半小时。另外一个房子在
Millburn，上班需要1小时。两个地方学区都差不多。
Princeton Junction60万的房子，相当于Millburn100万的房子。
另外Princeton Junction停车位还要等上三年，要不只能早上7：30去火车站，或者申
请两个人才可能使用的车位。
你们建议我会选那一个。 |
