family/personal finance is very important, having too much cash sitting idle

You can search your local area for private tutor services. There are a lot
of them. Then you can check their reputations using Yelp, Google, etc. Read
all the comments about them, good or bad. Finally you can try out a tutor
for a month. If not satisfied, switch. But once you find a good tutor or
turtor service company, stick to him/her/them. |

不清路数，而且英语对父母来说不是母语，social 各方面都不能和本土人比，这个对
孩子的影响还是很大的。我想这就是Beida为啥还要送孩子去学校的原因。
如果等到第二代，这些都不是问题，父母又有精力的话，完全可以homeschool。这个
homeschool对学校教育就如前面所说private class 对 group class，效果完全不同。 |

PM两个时段，中间间隔一小时。然后我就搞不明白了，这是上午上2个半小时，然后休
息一个小时，再上2个半小时；还是说是两个班，娃只能选择上午或下午班，一天只能
在学校呆2个半小时？如果只有2个半小时那绝对不够，娃英文实在不好。
附近有家private K, 口碑还可以，其实学费也不贵，比娃现在上的daycare还便宜200
刀，可以从8：30一直上到3：15，而且据说教不少东西。
但我不知道应该把钱拿来上private K好，还是给报点其它兴趣班好？真心求教，所以
请大家轻点拍。 |

实在是烦恼极了，发在这儿向大家请教。
两个孩子都在上各种private lesson，经常是我们请假了没去上课，但老师的帐单来了
，经常显示的费用包括我们没去上的课，还有就是按时间计时的课，上了30 分钟的课
，却收40 分钟的钱， 虽然都有记录，但实在不好意思跟每一个老师argue，让老师觉
得计较，另外还担心老师给孩子穿小鞋，当然大多数老师都不错，本人工薪阶层，朝九
晚五，挣得都是血汗钱，一两次，也就算了，多了实在掏得心疼.
有没有既不得罪人，又可以不付冤枉钱的办法。诚心向大家请教，谢谢了！ |

事情顺利解决，发5个rp守恒包，从10楼之后开始算起~~
上午去boa办事，把车停在了boa客户停车位上
从boa出来大概10点钟吧，就直接去了附近的绿墙买东西，很近，one block
从绿墙出来时还很高兴，因为烧了5RR
到了停车场就傻眼了：有人正拿着相机给车拍照，说我们违反了停车规矩
我们augue说我们确实是去了boa办业务的
他说他知道，但是我们出去买东西for a long time--我们去绿墙到回来不到17分钟
然后给了票和一个信封，要交28刀停车费
看了那个票，是个invoice for private parking charge，很清楚的写着 this
parking charge notice is not issued by the city。应该是一家private parking公
司的
很郁闷
ld还没吃过ticket，第一次因为车罚钱居然是家私人公司。如果真是ticket，和警察叔
叔argue一下说不定还能少交点，而现在撞上的是靠这个赚钱的公司。。。
从严格意义上说我们确实违反了停车规矩，因为这个free parking只有在b |

刚拿到个小公司的offer 公司就十几个人 不提供401k 我本来有些失望 但是HR的人介
绍说他们公司提供非常多的ESO （40,000 shares/4 years) 据他说这是比401k还好的
一种替代方案
我个人就觉得这是个非常唬人的说法 这种小公司股票没public 分分钟都有可能倒闭血
本无归吧？那么这些ESO不都是跟空气一样么？我就不知道是不是这种private company
的股票是否只有在公开发行后才会有较大回报？公开发行前的买卖模式是怎样的？股价
如何计算？有可能通过交易盈利么？
我反正觉得不太靠谱

在学校的AA已经实习几十年，就算加州有宪法修正案，但是一个同样条件的黑人，如果
换成Chinese Lastname, 改成Chinese，原本能去哈佛，现在只能去州立，原本能去UCB
，现在只能去community collage,因为美国毛轮，民主党粉丝主导教育部门，他们管招
生。他们为啥要搞SCA5，因为没有SCA5，就有被告的可能，他们希望SCA5免除这种可能。

发帖数: 333 | 41 其实两种课各有各的好处，但得看看你自己教育小孩的理念，以及培养他学钢琴的初衷
是什么，一般来说private lesson可以严打基础，弹奏很多的曲目，能得到一对一的训
练，group lesson呢更多是音乐能力，当然也包括各方面的，同时group lesson有很多
的音乐活动，小孩在一起能have fun, 同时互相也有个竞争，另外，就是培养小孩的音
乐创新力，group lesson有着很大的优势，几个小孩在老师的引导下互相交流会产生更
多更有意义的idea,不过group lesson时间有限，每个小孩会有各自的情况，所以学得
快的同学就得将就一下学得慢的同学，各有利弊，看你更偏重哪个了。
PS：本人可以offer这种两种课，private和group的，不过group的需要同时也有别的小
孩报名才能实现，有兴趣的话，可以带你们家小孩来看看。 |
