I am using Mac Pro 2008, 2 Quad Core 2.8Ghz Xeon starting $2799.
It was really expensive CPUs at that time. Therefore people believe this Mac
Pro was the best value. Recent two revisions provide much cheaper CPUs but
price tag is going up.
Now the base model is One Quad Core 2.8Ghz for $2499. Insane.
Then $3499, $4999 for what?
The highest end of Mac Pro 2008 starts at $4399. |

基本就是上128 ssd + anti-glare高分屏。
现在个人总结有如下途径，不知道哪个好，各位多提点意见哈
(在hardware版发，被人说果黑，无语。。。请各位看我历史记录，绝对良民)
1) discover 5% cb
用shop discover连apple，然后进back school, 这样一共是$2224+tax ($1999+
选配)，然后能拿5% cb.
2) shopper 5%cb (via apple store)
同上，不过是用shopper连进apple store. 感觉discover好处是能redeem gc, 有
时候能有神g，比如以前的shell 油卡。坏处是据说discover赖账，有时候明明是链接
进去的，就不认。
3) shopper 10% cb (via macmall)
现在用shopper进macmall可以拿10%cb，唯一疑问是shopper的连接指定是低配pro (

跟adonit jot pro比较一下
pengo做工明显不如adonit jot pro，但是比便宜山寨货强多了
大头很流畅，没话说
小头其实侧面不太敏感，经常要比较用力才有响应，但是如果把笔竖起来，就变得很敏
大概跟接触面积有关
笔刷很吊。很有feeling
记note：绝对jot pro，除了精确定位不说，关键是这个东西现在体会到最大好处是省
力气。因为传统的软胶头的stylus，你多少得稍微有点儿力气把软胶压下去一点保证
足够的接触面积。但是jot pro因为本身就是个平板，所以不需要。
画画：建议都要有。jot pro适合精确定位上色，这个无可替代。但是大面积刷颜色
特别是你真的以前纸上画过，习惯斜着拿笔的，pengo这种软胶头的非常爽。这种
触感是最接近真实纸笔的。这一点连x220t或者wacom板的digitalizer都没法比。
另外pengo这个3合一里那个小笔刷也非常好玩
建议，如果只要一个，jot pro
如果画画多，可以搞一个软胶头的，也不一定要pengo或者bamboo，H10也足够了 |

Apple appears to have quietly discontinued the 17" MacBook Pro today amid
the flurry of updates and announcements at WWDC today. Apple's newly updated
MacBook Pro product page mentions the new Retina Display-equipped 15" Pro,
as well as the new 13" and 15" Pro's, but is silent on the 17".

According to New York Times technology columnist David Pogue, Apple still
believes in desktop Macs, including both the iMac and the Mac Pro.
The Mac Pro in particular has raised the ire of some Apple fans because it
has been several years since the last update, and the update today was

Other World Computing posted this picture on their blog showing a MacBook
Pro with Retina Display hooked up to a pair of iMacs serving as Thunderbolt
displays and a third monitor via HDMI. This setup powers four screens with a
total of 15,680,000 pixels.
The writer of the post, OWC Mike, seemed impressed with the performance of
the MacBook Pro:

本月初，苹果更新了MacBook Pro系列笔记本电脑产品线，新MacBook Pro产品配备
了包括移动Core i7在内的英特尔最新一代移动处理器，同时产品的主板设计也略微有

据PC Authority的基准测试显示，苹果的新款MacBook Pro笔记本在工作量较大的

具体点来说，PC Authority声称苹果MacBook Pro笔记本里的2.66 GHz Core i7

Air真的太薄太脆，我个人比较喜欢稍微厚实一点的。最初觉得13" Pro的分辨率实在低
，实际用下来，Air的字比较小，看网页都得放大字体，也没什么意义。加上Air基本无
法升级，越来越觉得鸡肋。在公共场合还不敢用，怕人误解性取向，同时为了表明果黑
身份，我都是套个黑壳在外面用的
于是到店里重新再把各种机型摸了一遍，反而喜欢13" Pro了。屏幕很皮实，500GB硬盘
可以放到光驱位当一个数据盘，内存也可以直接加到16GB。分辨率实际用过Air后感觉
也没有什么大问题

yoga 2 pro 只能8G内存， MBP可以定制到16G.
yoga 2 pro 只是802.11 N的网卡，MBP都是AC。
yoga 2 pro 的SATA SSD 比MBP的PCI-E SSD慢多了。

它品牌的笔记本几乎清一色为16：9. 如果是编程应用，个人感觉：16：10显示屏明显
好过16：9显示屏。也是因为这个原因，我大约于3年前，无奈地从Thinkpad转投了”果
粉“阵营。不过，我通常是在Macbook PRO上安装Triple Boot Systems，工作平台主要
是Windows 7.
正如我在另外一个帖子所说的，也是个人应用体验，Macbook PRO的性能是有名无实的
。因为受到散热限制和供电限制，Macbook PRO高配置，实际上是无法在 CPU 多线程下
长时间工作的，也无法让独立显卡在高负荷下长时间工作。即使多线程编译程序代码，
机内温度很快就会上升到90度以上，导致风扇狂叫，电源指示灯从绿色变成橙色（需要
外部供电），更不要说让机器长时间运行多线程仿真程序了。
当然，在Macbook PRO上写写一般的应用程序（调试程序，不真正运行大型仿真程序）
，文字处理，Web应用开发，Macbook PRO 还是相当不错的。 |

真想玩得话，改得更牛鼻点不难，trd pro不神秘。复杂的东西trail Ed都给配了，
rear locker，KDSS，crawl control。
trd pro比普通4r 升高一寸，用的是软弹簧硬减震。自己改可以升2-3寸，如果也想要
软弹簧的话可以match trd pro 弹簧rating。减震可以照搬。
trd 用铝制护板，自己可以装全钢，越野秒杀铝制护板
