Procmail is a program for filtering electronic mail. It is very
useful for presorting and preprocessing large amounts of incoming
mail. You can use it sort out mail from mailing lists, to dispose
of junk mail, to send automatic replies.
How to start it?
It is probably that your system administrator has set up to let procmail
be invoked from within the mailer immediately. If that's not
the case, it should be invoked automatically over the .forward
file mechanism as soon as mail arrive |

.forward at all. If not, you'd better to read
procmail manual about how to use it in .forward.

.procmailrc cannot be executed without #!/bin-path/procmail
header, which was not present in your file. |

Second, If your system demon support translate command, you can use.
man procmail,
read carefully.
you need:
1 compose .forward
2 compose .procmail

最近我发现了一个办法：
I prefer to use mutt for all my email.
so I pull exchange with procmail+fetchmail
then for invites, I let procmail foward to my gmail account,
then I can accept and add to my google calendar.
all the rest can be done in linux |

Pre-sorting is none of pine's business, pine only manipulate on the emails
that are already somewhere. If you want some emails go to some assigned
folders, try write a .procmailrc file in you home directory. try
"man procmail" to see how to write one.
If you want post-sort the emails you've already read, pine CAN do that. |

the misplacement of header and foot, but still I can't find where to
control the nember-of-line-per-page in the ps output, or the font size
in groff. ...
please try manpage for procmail to see how bad its layout is. |
