构做过翻译。2006年以前在BBC工作，之后受雇于NPR，是什么人权运动的积极参加者。
已婚，在上海居住。 丈夫在上海开了一家餐馆，叫 Southern Barbarian, 我想是寓“
南蛮”之意。从相片上看，不像有中国混血，因此 “Lim”应该是来自牠丈夫，大概是
马来西亚华侨。
Lim 对中国时事报道极具片面性，采访经常断章取义， 说的往往是 twisted half
