比如，以前英语语法强调不能用split infinitive，就是说to harshly criticize, to
profusely praise，但是其实这个是当初拉丁语法留下来的遗产，现在一般都认为那
样说没什么大问题。
再比如，在语音学上，有人开始喜欢把often中的t念出来。虽然有的语音学老师不喜欢
，但是也被接受了。
不过如果有学生把a lot写成alot，把their friends写成there friends，虽然很多老
美也这样写，但是应该算语法错误。
至今为止，一般都是x times taller than=x time as tall as是大家接受的说法。很
多人有误解是把汉语中“比他高几倍”和“是他的几倍”的定式带进了英语中。知道这
个语法点就行了。
我其实不是英语专业的，但是语法课是外语学院必修的，而且只是很粗浅的。后来因为
搞language arts的教学，才认真修了一门语法，和我在大学学到的已经有了一些不同
了，也算赶了个潮流。

My GF and I were driving to PA on Saturday, we got pulled over where we live
(in jersey), she was driving.
Just a note my girlfriend drives very cautiously and very carefully. She has
been driving since she was 16, and now is 29, never had points nor a moving
violation since she started driving. We were going to a wedding and she was
a bridesmaid, she gets very nervous and must of not been thinking or just

I can see Denver collasping from here. They'll still make the play offs,
but falling far short of their goal.

这一块，种的时候就考虑长期有花看，在早春海棠，夏季黄百合、玫瑰过后，次第接上
，如今daylily，康乃馨，zinnia开始了。
cornflower，长在玉米地的小野花，育苗后，听龙大说不好，差点扔了，后来还是慈悲
心里，找个空子塞到底里。其实也是蛮动人的小花。
