问了一下POSTDOC 工资比前面几个可能要低1万左右
有没有熟悉人告知这些学校里面的头衔都有啥差别，对一个CS PHD 来说呢

，其实有些CS的基本概念不熟，算法也不是很熟，但是我还是让他来公司面试， 我们
公司是AMAZON在加州的全资子公司，所以这一轮的NEW GRADUATE的面试基本都是从西部
的好学校找来的。
这哥们可能是在学校呆的时间太长，问他对工作的看法，他说不想做纯programmer，想
一半research一半development， 不仅对我说，而且对我老板说。 我快昏倒，你要做
RESEARCH可以去读PHD,不用来找工作啊，现实的工业界就是DEVELOPMENT,没有什么
RESEARCH. 而且他现在的PLAN是不用写论文的MASTER,都没有RESEARCH的导师。
我特别想招他进来，但是我老板说要尊重人的想法，我们这里没有什么RESEARCH,他来
了会不开心的。如果我坚持要招他，我老板也会他OFFER,但是如果这哥们来了觉得
CODING不是他想要的，他想做RESEARCH,我也很难办。

的前辈们。
我虽然读的是CS，但是一来我本科不是CS的，所以coding和专业上的能力比起纯CS出身
的还是有些差距的；二来我个人的兴趣也能多的集中在产品、客户上面，对于纯
programmer的工作虽然不抵触，但是还是想看看有没有更好的选择吧。
之前听一些人讨论过，有很多CS的毕业生最后都从事了product manager或者类似的职
位，除了要coding以外，也要经常和开发与客户之间联系、沟通的；有些甚至都不需要
太多的coding，专注于跟不同方面的部门之间协调。
不知道论坛里面有没有什么前辈，能出来介绍一些这样类型的工作的大概情况，分享一
些经验，例如工作性质、薪酬、压力和职业发展前景之类的。
