发帖数: 2354 | 6 这次美网之行，由于有了朋友搞来的中心球场周末连续两天的赠票，没有需要去钓黄牛
票的担忧，天气预报又准确的说是晴天，我可以说是准备充分，带着相机防晒霜和帽子
每天准时进场就行了。酣畅淋漓的享受了两天顶级赛事，几乎场场都有大满贯得主压阵
，literally的看到了所有我想看的球星，并有意外之喜，可谓圆满。
周六白天三场比赛，依次是沙娃，罗迪克，和费天王。对沙娃完全不感冒的我们晃晃悠
悠的迟了40分钟才到，和魁北克来的朋友会合，进场坐好先勘察了一下地形：这能坐两
万三千人的球场，坐席大致分为四等：最近的courtside，然后包厢（club suite），
然后loge，然后是顶层的promenade，我们坐的是loge，还算能看清楚。那时穿着白裙
子的二号种子已经丢了第一盘，而在第二盘开始发飙，一口气拿了四局。观众好像完全
感觉不到球场里的紧张气氛，聊天吃东西的可开心了，沙娃的对手是谁也完全不了解（
我至少听见两三次旁边的人互相问：who’s the other girl?），只有上网短兵相接或
者打出很酷的winner时会有喝彩声。一眨眼，6比1，2比0，就在我以为某娃要砍瓜切菜
一样 |

发帖数: 2354 | 7 今年是连续第四年现场看美网了，照例还是Labor Day weekend，看了周六和周日的两
个day sessions。第一个星期连续晴好的天气让男子前两轮在前五天里面顺利完成，所
以从第六天开始是男子上半区的第三轮比赛。我和朋友早早预订的是周日的suite票，
而要想看头号种子roger的比赛就必须last minute搞定周六的票，真是人算不如天算。
不过还好最后还是弄到了promenade的票，虽然朋友说这座位是way up there，那也比
没有强。女子比赛进行的要快一点，掐指算来周日在suite里面坐着应该能细细观赏回
归的kim打她的第四轮比赛，而且还可能是遭遇大威，很是得意，周五晚上开车去纽约
的路上想着这一切，恨不得哼起歌来。
9月5日 星期六
赛程：费德勒对休伊特，莎拉波娃对oudin，罗迪克对isner。
和往年不同，今天准点到达arthur ashe，既没shopping也没在外场闲逛就直接进场，
因为第一场就是roger对休伊特。休伊特还是反戴帽子，穿着挺精神的yonex衣服，但是
从他在走廊里的赛前采访很难看出他有取胜的信心，难道是N连败俱乐部成员的共性 |

看到大半夜，正好是纳豆本次美网最后一次出场。要是买晚两天的票就看不到了，哈哈
。纳豆在先胜两局的前提下，居然被扳回来，估计很多人都没想到。其实现场两局结束

cherry街城中分店，东西比较贵，所有点心都贵5毛，但是清静，又靠着湖
窝顿最热闹，品种最全，最便宜，周末开20小时，但是人太多了，停车场天天满的，
checkout排长队
我最喜欢是芒果西米露，今天从leslie spit沿湖骑车经过，又喝了一杯
其他白椰汁，紫芋，绿蜜瓜，士卑梨口味还行，但是芒果最好
今天骑车骑了30公里，累昏了
早上6点30就出发了
看到不少野兔，鸟岛上几千只鸟，不过都是黑乎乎的loon
简单，两张从Niagara Fall到多伦多的路上会经过第一个地址的分店，我们到那里的时
候大概7点多，正好适合吃晚饭。

The Getty Center蓋帝中心是美國收藏相當豐富的博物館，文藝復興(Renaissance)至

早上睡个懒觉，然后9：30去位于5层甲板的“一条街”（Royal Promenade）领“冰上
演出”（Freedom-Ice.com）的门票。
船上位于第3层甲板的冰场剧院（Studio B Center Ice）没有位于3，4层甲板的主剧院
（Arcadia Theatre）那么大。
所以三千多游客要分成四场看演出，主剧院分两场看就可以了。
领完票去第11层甲板的自助餐厅（Jade & Windjammer Cafe）吃早饭，然后接着吃午饭。
吃完饭在船上乱转。
这是从船前面往船后面照，能看到的是船中央的游泳池，混合用。
身后还有个游泳池（Solarium）是给成人用的。
照片里能看到一点点的还有个游泳池（H2O Zone）是给小孩儿玩儿的。
三个游泳池都在第11层甲板。

去玩儿，最有名最美的地方都留着有亲友来的时候再去重重复复的造访。一直想把个人
觉得最适合旅游的地方总结一下，不管是网上人问，还是朋友来，建议起来都比较简单。
洛杉矶除了气候宜人，吸引游客的最大原因应该是迪斯尼乐园和环球影城吧。这两个游
乐园佛罗里达也有，所以去过的没有太多必要重复。迪斯尼有两个很大的主题公园，可

terminologies are in french, such as ecart, promenade, sur place... however,
these are just dance terminologies. classical ballet's terminology is all in
french, because the dance originated in the french royal courtyard. ever since

。一个月的课结束，我们这些新手就被迫去参加年度的哈佛新手大赛。这个活动也是哈佛
的传统，在每年秋天早些时候把new comer和bronze放一起聚聚，也好为接下来的真比赛热
热身。我当时并非很热心的要去，可是一个漂亮朋友问我是否愿意和她一起去，我就勉强
同意了。
我们要比赛的是American style的foxtrot和east coast swing.这俩我们学得最好，因为
哈佛team总是这样的,先安排些相对简单的american style的诱饵，然后把我们给诱进int
ernational style. Foxtrot里头我们就学了些“slow,slow,quick,quick”，promenade,
和underarm turn。这点东西刚够我们在场子里边逛逛而不用停下来的。SWing里边我们也
只是知道一些简单的，如change places, 停步/启动，和一两个bronze的花样。因为我从
来没有和她跳过（我忘了为什么当时没有和我分配好的舞伴跳了）。我们决定赛前大略排

可能我也是让spoil了，究竟舞伴好不好我是不清楚的，或者说我甚至也许开始缺省的认
为，舞伴的水平就应该是这么的。我怎么lead,她都应该知道。
现在这个舞伴的情况是，比如我想lead hockey stick，她经常性的想不起来hockey
stick究竟timing是怎么一个情况，虽然她也通过了step test。或者她不知道alignment
应该往
哪儿走。我不知道这个对follower而言是一个普遍情况，还是一个个别情况。
再又比如waltz,基本上routine我已经很熟了。哪个pattern可以衔接哪个pattern心里都
很有数。她也是不行，总是一遍记不住。我想知道，是不是follower因为主要是follow来
的，所以对pattern的衔接并不很清楚。比如natural turn之后我可以spin,可以impetus,
outside change之后promenade我然后可以这样，也可以那样。她好像不是很懂得比如有
些基本是必须接natural turn的，而natural |

比如promenade 的时候已经朝着corner去了，这个时候应该怎么来跳pattern
男士右脚起，我说我可以来个weave 1-2-3，然后来个back whisk，这样
就可以转向new line of dance了，可以吗？
还有就是做个hesitation，然后接个half reverse turn。
总之这类灵活的东西是不是需要我认真研究一下各pattern的连接关系，
然后看看怎么来选择options?

恩，waltz感觉越来越舒服了
foxtrot的 rise and fall也感觉开始舒服了。恩
还是那样的，小时候我学走路也许摔过很多跤，我也没有认真练，长大了我跑起来也不
算太坏，嘿嘿 |

一个建筑为了纪念而建造，是一件很可悲的事情，
让人不能轻松地忘记灾难对于功能性建筑来说并非一件好事。
高度也不够，如果不把那个尖顶算作实际高度的话。
bigL说think group的方案乏味，
偶实在不敢苟同。
第一，从外形上恢复twin towers，从功能上改进，
这才是最好的纪念和利用；
第二，设计方案高度实在，卓然而立，与周遭建筑和谐，夜景迷人，
比起那些Libeskind的水晶颗粒撒在一群土丘上好多了。

很久以前，曾经在一个冬夜，去海边吹冷风。这次呢，是初夏午后的大海。看到那里的
人们都那样快乐，我也能感受到那种气氛。以前，一个朋友回国后，跟我在msn上说，
国内一切都方便，生活也走入正轨了。可是，最怀念的就是南加的金色沙滩。我一直生
活在这里，好像还很少真正地去感受他所说的美好呢。
