If I remember correctly, there are laws regulating how you can hang flags.
you cannot hang Chinese flags without hanging American flags at the same
time. The American flag has to be the same size or larger and placed at a
more prominent position, e.g., higher than the Chinese flag, or to the right
of the Chinese flag if at the same level, etc. |

I was saddened to learn from The New York Times this past weekend that
astrophysicist and human-rights advocate Fang Lizhi had died at age 76. I
