对我而言，我的经验就是fight speeding ticket不是去为自己辩护的（大部分没上过
庭的中国同学的误区），而是去attack警察的证词以及证据的。因为当你指出了警察
statement或affidavit中的问题，他的charge就会被质疑，那么prosecution lacks a
foundation。
首先，遇到speeding ticket，能fight尽量fight，因为这是moving infraction，是会
报到dol加入你的driving record，大部分情况下可能会影响你的保险，那就不是100来
刀的问题，而是将近几百刀甚至1000刀的了。而且如果你相信你确实没超速，或者说警
察夸大了，更要contested hearing了。
其次，首先联系prosecution agency 来request discovery，这个很重要，因为

一个管理罚单，另一个收罚款）。具体过程如下：
Prosecutor (又称prosecuting attorney，或译公诉人律师) 把每10人一批，叫到隔壁
房间A。房间A另通prosecutor的小屋B。这10人轮流进prosecutor的小屋B，跟
prosecutor协商案件的可能结果。prosecutor然后把结果转给法官，法官再一个个把被
告人叫到跟前，宣读协商的结果。因为那写结果是被告人跟prosecutor协商同意的，所

这些费用都是不清不楚的，谁知道多少啊？是不是应该写清楚呢？
是不是应该写清楚，收费任何时候都不会超过1/3?

pistol-whip, then threaten her mother in order to get a sports car,
according to Lee County Sheriff's Office reports.
On Thursday, March 24, 17-year-old Rachel Hachero called her mother from a
car dealership and asked her to co-sign a loan for a vehicle. When Rachel's
mother Linda Hachero refused, Rachel threatened to kill her, reports said.

的警察也不管。 因为这个问题在这个州有争议，现实是大家默认州法律，就是带枪去
学校也没事。从来没人因此被起诉过。

scientist if they care enough to do so and usually they won't be prosecuted
if they do similar things. And you should change the 白人 to "Jewish white
Americans". The things some Jewish scientists do for Iseral go far beyond
this and you don't see them being prosecuted so pathetically.

暨刘迎秋院长、黄晓勇书记：
在过去半年多的时间里，引起海内外广泛关注的中国学界最大的新闻之一，就是贵院
2002年毕业生刘菊花硕士学位论文涉嫌抄袭事件。
据不完全统计，包括中央电视台、中央人民广播电台、新华社在内的多家权威媒体报道
了该事件，网络媒体对此事件的转载和传播更是不计其数。不仅如此，《中国日报》对
该事件的英文报道还将这一丑闻传遍了全世界。因此，依法对刘菊花硕士论文涉嫌抄袭
案加以查处，不仅事关刘菊花本人，而且关系到贵院、中国研究生与学位教育质量、人
文社会科学界乃至整个中国学术界在海内外的学术信誉。然而，半年多时间过去了，刘
菊花硕士论文抄袭事件迄今仍未见到处理结论。因此，我们决定给贵院及主要负责同志
写这封公开信，以表达我们对这一事件的严重关注。
