don't think the struture prediction is of critical importance.
If the peptied of the interest has few siquence similarity, then just use the
whole peptide to immune the rabbit or mice. however, if there is amy
siqnificant sequnce similarity to other proteins, you need to use the part
that are not conserved to immune.
BTW, if you want predict peptide structure, SWISS-PROT is a good place to
start.

one of the most difficult fields. Of
course you can claim swiss-prot prediction has better structure than in
vitro structural methods, but no one
really believes that. How about to read some articles by David Baker? They
did a lot of protein design, and they
ALWAYS use Xray or NMR to prove their design. If you don't believe Xray,
which is arguably the best method in

两条的功能,方法和syntax好像都是一样的,唯一不同是1用pcfile和server名字,路径来
指定数据路径,2直接用oracle,db2之类来指定
举例说明,用libname statement去读oracle数据
1:libname mylib pcfiles server=*** prot=**** dsn=ORA9MS user=*** pwd=***
preserve_tab_names=yes;
2:libname mylib oracle user=*** password=*** path=*** schema=hrdept;
有区别吗?
还有一个疑问,同样是用pass-through facility去读数据

发帖数: 843 | 29 刚过的周末，随意在网上乱逛，突然发现美国速度滑冰协会（US Speedskating）从今
年开始批准了Tiny Tot（6岁及以下）可以参加比赛，并单设了一个年龄组。在他们官
网核准的比赛中，正好有一个就在下周末在明尼苏达的双城地区，11月19日下午短道速
滑，20日上午大道速滑。
赶紧在周末紧急加入了USS的member（这是参加他们官方比赛强制要求的），昨天（周
一）寄出了报名表。我们这儿没有速滑俱乐部，平时全是我带着儿子在冰场public
session的时候野路子自己练。周日的晚上人比较少，给他穿戴齐整了所有官方比赛要
求的护具 – ISU批准的短道速滑头盔（LAS – Mistral，他戴着显着特大）、紧身速
滑服（我给他备好的自带护膝和护胫短道速滑服还是太大，就先用这个凑合了）、防切
割Kevlar材质的护颈、护膝、护胫、手套。
最后，他以前一直用的是Maple Protégé的12寸短道刀，我发现这个刀的离地间隙（
ground clearance）比Maple其他更加正式的短道刀要矮8mm，更适合初学者；嘉嘉已经

家里用CABLE， 连上PAP2V2 , 一切顺利，没有做PORT FWDING ， 完全正常，可是拿到
朋友家，ATT的DSL， uverse 什么的，却只能打出，打进来只响铃，拿起来却没有声音
，而用来拨打这个PAP2v2 的手机里，这时候也仍然响铃，没有显示接通。已经作了
PROT FWDING也没用。
在朋友家里，换上OBI110 就没问题，能顺利打出打入。
我想一定是什么参数每设置对。哪位又经验？
