Chemistry的phd，准备投生物类比如med school cancer center的postdoc。现在
resume上列publication有点头疼。phd做的biological的实验其实比合成drug只多不少
，但博士老板老思维投的都是传统化学杂志比如Chemical Communications, Angew
Chem, Chem. European J.一类，以至于连reviewer都经常说应该投更bio的杂志。另外
过去还做过一些nanomaterials的工作合作者也用到了in vivo然后发了些像
Biomaterials这样的杂志。另外还有篇analytical chemistry类的一作小杂志。 现在
问题是担心medical school里那些教授们不熟悉化学杂志的好坏（估计最多也就知道
Angew Chem），有没有必要在每条publication后列个impact factor？会不会很土？
另外，申请postdoc是让一个那个学校比较有名的化学教授发给他认识的一些biology的

一样，不见得这里的人都申请过你们那个office的ro1.
下个ro1，如果和你目前的topic有关系，一定是要看你这个ro1的publications的，而
且必须是在你目前这个ro1结束之前就开始申请的。 如果下个ro1和目前这个不同topic
，应该危险性不大，和你新的ro1相关的preliminary data & publication有关系。 |

要teaching又要research怎么忙的过来，心想找了纯teaching学校的我还是比较舒服的
，虽说收入不高可是日子清闲。
结果今天听到同事在hallway里议论，一位正在申请long term contract的老美同事说
今天和Dean谈过了，Dean说现在咱们从college升级到university已经10年了，要求变
变也是应该的嘛，别的不说，您要long term contract的话还是有点publication比较
好。我次奥！现在每个礼拜上课都忙的脚不沾地的，居然还要正式的research！
好彩自己表面上的research agenda是有的，但是publication就难说了，唉！以后的日
子也不好混啊，连tier4的学校都要求那么高了 |
