Tufted Puffins (Lunda Cirrhata) inhabit the Northern Pacific regions
including Far Eastern seas of Russia and separate equatorial areas of the
Arctic ocean. The birds spend most part of their lives in an ocean. They
stay ashore 4 months a year to breed.
Many islands and rocks located in the Kamchatka and Sakhalin regions are

puffin, what you see here is the Atlantic puffin. You can find them at
Canada Atlantic shore and Maine and New york in winter.
Says the horned puffin and tufted puffin (pacific coast)spend their winter
in S. California, never seen them, because them live on the sea in winter.
So the best chance to see them is summer time, in Alaska, Canada, Maine sea
coast. |

Kenai Fjords国家公园面积很大，无数个犬牙交错的半岛伸进太平洋，形成大大小小很
多小海湾。于是，坐游轮沿着海岸线观赏Kenai Fjords国家公园的冰川与野生海洋生物
，就成了Seward的一项重要旅游项目。我们预定的是一条九个小时的线路。
早上8点上船，船上提供早餐、水果和饮料。我们去得比较早，在楼上靠窗挑了一个好
位置。我们刚坐下，就上来一对高高瘦瘦的金发年轻人，穿着情侣黑色登山衣裤，女的
戴着豆绿色的平顶短舌小帽，和我们打过招呼以后就坐在了我们的对面。离起航还有一
段时间，坐在对面的年轻女孩子很健谈，用带着浓重德国口音的英文问我们是从哪里来
的，又自我介绍说她叫Katina，男孩叫Marco，两个人是从瑞士来的，开着一辆RV，随
地而睡，玩完了Alaska，下一站是加拿大的育空地区。一听说他们是瑞士来的，又开着
辆房车，我和G立马就来了兴趣，因为我们一直在计划明年去瑞士，也一直向往将来两
个人能开着辆房车到处游山玩水。Katina一听我们计划去瑞士，就主动给我们写下了一

动物看了海獭 无数海豹 海狮 我也分不太清海豹和海狮 一只小驼背鲸 然后几头虎鲸
还有些鸟 除了puffin 其他我也不知道是啥
开到northwest glacier跟前 之前还有几个冰川 虽然雾很大还是很震撼 特别是碰到
冰崩 开始还以为是打雷 不过我们遇到的都是比较小冰崩
这个tour还行 时间很长 去的路上 吃得也还蛮好 cookie很不错 开得很快 过了bear
glacier那段 晕船吐得七荤八素 后排凳子上坐满了面如菜色的
看puffin的时候刚吐完 完全没兴趣看 后来到了峡湾里面就好了 |

如果说哥伦比亚冰川邮轮一送一价格便宜这个没话说，但是从valdez到冰川线上，无论
是杀人鲸还是座头鲸都比基奈峡湾少，如果说要看两种筑巢的puffin，整个威廉姆斯王
子峡湾比基奈峡湾少许多，后者看海豚的机会也很大。去基奈峡湾，许多人都想看看野
生的而不是海洋馆里的puffin。
至于朱诺，从朱诺到Tracy Arm入口景色一般，看鲸船的话通常还是往北去，也有人坐
观鲸船只看到小小尾巴。如果lz不坐邮轮，再去朱诺成本更贵。
冰川湾岸边棕熊散步并不是每次都可以看到的吧，我拿个30倍望远镜就看到山上有熊，
而且终点的大太平洋冰川冰川面都剩砺石了，看得到冰崩的几个规模都很小。飞到
gustavus加住宿游船什么可以去卡特迈看熊了。
另外lz，你如果要去kenai fjords cruise，不要在网上订，到seward叫旅馆订可以打9
折。 |

发帖数: 2194 | 28 Day2 (7/6) 早起继续到海边猛拍了火山海景，我们就开始沿着Sterling Highway往北
开，路上停了一下Clam Gulch，由于今年禁止挖蚌所以这里相当冷清，倒是让我们近距
离看到了好多白头鹰。

路上在local的海鲜店买了一包清理干净的Clam, 把车停在路边我们就拿Clam煮面做午
饭，然后就奔向下午的fishing trip （http://www.kenaifloat-n-fish.com）.不得不强力推荐这个family run的fishing tour，夫妇俩非常热情而且耐心，让我们免费带着小孩上船还一路细心指导照顾，比我们后面参加的Deshka River的那个tour强多了。4-5个小时的tour，很容易上鱼，我们一共钓了大概10只三文鱼和Trout，可惜我们钓到的Trout都太大（Kenai River的trout有size上限），最后就带了一只10磅左右的Sockeye三文鱼回去，也足够我们在RV吃了两天。
6点左右我们继续往北开往Seward，9点多到达Seward北边几个mile的Bear Creek RV

八月初去了向往已久的阿拉斯加，美景，野生动物和钓鱼自然是三大目标。
下了飞机，购物然后就是一路狂奔，直指Denali。小睡2小时就被朝霞换醒。
到了Denali Camper Bus的车站，自然是要拍下这顶帽子。
目的地是Wonder Lake的Campground，一路上美景不断，惊喜连连。
这是人人都拍的地标性景致。
路上停车小憩。

Moose也不甘示弱
不如意事常八九，到了营地，McKinley不愿出来，只好在蓝莓环绕的营地扎下帐篷，在
雨中甜蜜的呼呼，真累了。
次日，提前出来，沿着颠簸的Denali HWY向Valdez出发，途中打尖Tangle River。可
钓Greyling，所以老爸拍照，儿甩杆。

even if it doesn't apply to real life. If it can translate to good grades
and/or succesful career, that is great. If not, we still enjoy it. it
