free one. Then if the player of punting team gets the ball, they become
the offense side again!
If a player of punting team touches the ball before any player of
non-punting team does, the non-punting team will start from there!! |

2. 选择go for it, 尤其是短码数，了不起被对方stop就地进攻，也就是从对方的35-
45 yard开始，如果punt对方回攻跑码也常常到这个区域；
3. 选择punt，丧失一搏的机会，而且就算punt for touchback, 对方从20码处开始进
攻，也没多大差别。punt到对方10码线以内的机会很小。
如果我当教练，35-45码这个区域，80%的可能性选择go for it，而不是以let defense
play为理由选择punt. |

这是第一节，野猪在50码线附近4th and 6,孙红雷果断叫了一个fake punt，顺便提一
下，在这之前一个drive，野猪punter Irwin-Hill从本方23码轰出一记77码的punt，这
还没算上他到LOS的10码，有兴趣的人可以瞻仰一下，在12:20左右，据ESPN报道,Irwin
-Hill两只脚都能踢球，是个左右开弓的牛人
说回到这个fake punt,在audible后，野猪摆出了这样的一个阵形
没人注意到的是，野猪的long snapper D'Appollonio这场穿的不是他平时的53号球衣
，而是换上了82号，列在7人LOS的最右侧，在NCAA规则下，他就成为了一个eligible
receiver

发帖数: 11017 | 7 昨天是MEYER第8次在UF的执教生涯使出FAKE PUNT，成为赢下比赛的胜负手，目前为止8
次全中。不愧是特勤队牛人。
回顾一下这8次假踢和当时情形。我死活只能记起7次，还有一次望高手补充。
1.2005年客场对BAMA
那场比赛是MEYER在UF输的最惨的一次，3：30败给Mike Shula的红象。当时是MEYER第
一年在UF打他的SPREAD OPTION，不设FB和TE保护，前四场意气风发，4-0，全国排名第
五。结果去了BAMA就被如狼似虎的BAMA LB/DE一次次SACK，陷入苦战。MEYER及时抖出
FAKE PUNT，三个Block backs的SPREAD PUNT阵型，PUNTER接球后假装助跑踢RUGBY式
PUNT，最右边的block back（是我们的替补LB)假装倒退block却快速接近PUNTER，转身
接球后反向狂奔10码，FAKE成功。这次FAKE虽然一时扭转场上气势，但QB缺少保护问题
依旧存在，CHRIS LEAK狼狈不堪，第三节下半段就用替补QB上来打发垃圾时间了。
2.2005年对UGA

try to recover the ball. If the ball goes out of side line,
the non-punting team should start from where it goes out of side line.

punt it to around 10-yard line, then his teammate touches the ball before it
goes to end zone. It is better than puntting it to end zone. |

甚么kick off进去了, punt进去了, 甚至QB传球扔进去了,
是不是也能得3分。
要得3分, 只能用两种踢法: place kick, or drop kick;
而能用这两种踢得分的前提也只能是两种:
正儿八经的进攻, 有LOS, 有中锋开球, 有holder那种, 就是大家最常见的;
OR
fair catch a punt之后, 可以在接住球的地方踢一个,
而且这种情况下对方不能设防。 |

是punter根据场上对方布阵决定是punt，还是跑。不过NE这个play可能和Mesko无关，

昨晚绿湾2分conversion时，替补裁判用的是extra point的 k-ball，而不是正常的比
赛用球。

you can often see when a ball is punted and blocked and rolls back to the
kicking team's end zone, a kicking team player falls on it to prevent it
from being recovered by the other team. this is a safety. |

容易多了。
那其实教练都应该教队员，在正常情况下（除了类似于比赛最后1分钟领先一分的情况
），如果在10yard以内被punt block,尽量 commit safety. 两分加drop kick,明显好
过铁定3分加或者大可能的7分啊 |
