于4月预约ottawa五月某日的签证。本来以为没有事，因为之前在墨西哥签过3，4次吧
都没有被check。没有想到这次栽了。原因就是有些关键词，个人经验他们其实就是查
一下关键词，尤其是他们不懂的专业，如nano-xxx，bio-xxx，nuclear xx，那几乎会
一定check的。所以在CV，工作经历等处，把这些词都替换，应该是一个比较好的方法
。我努力了，但是有些硬件没法替换啊! 下面就详细说说我的其他废话。
ottawa基本不管时间，你去了，就在外面排队，出一个，进一个，你可能要在外面等很
久。所以如果天气不好，衣服等准备好。不能带包，钱包可以（男士的），女生的
purse不可以好像。可以带手机，但是要把电池取出，里面存放。进去后，右拐，检查
材料，然后到window 7去交，然后等被叫到window 4去按手印。windows 1，2，3面试
。我是被3号的大妈check的。如果你运气好，第二天3点取证。如果运气不 |

我9点半左右到scotiabank，交费可以用credit card。不过如果要换一些加币的话，要
是visa card才可以。
大概9点40到US Embassy，如果是背包的话不能入内。需要到一个block外的一家
information center去存，所以大家最好不要带包去签证，女士背的purse似乎可以，
可惜我为了省事背了一个背包，就不让进了。
进门的时候看门的小帅哥问我为什么迟到，我就实说不知道银行开门这么晚。他在我的
confirmation letter上写了一个bank，就放我进去了。
然后就是漫长等待签证的过程。我遇到的是一个黑mm，人看起来挺nice，也不怎么问问
题，问了我的专业问题，我说CS，她问具体方向，我就说computational linguistics
。再问具体的，我就拿出导师写的信给她看，注意信里一定不要有敏感词就好。最后她
问我毕业干啥，我说还做research，但是在哪里就不知到了，要先把毕业搞定。她点点
头，就把小红纸给我了。
