特大的风。而且还时不时下着雨。
我用iron在tee off时更本不差，但putter太郁闷了。。根本就是走神太多太多～～
还说能降在100杆一下呢。
对了，我还用的是white tee而不是上次的blue tee.
学了不少：
第一，打course比driving range练习更能稳定swing.
第二，处理一些意外状况，比如树风中间击球。

I just don't believe I can't hit 92 any more.
I got 118 on Friday, same as I got one week ago. Average putting stroke was
around 3.
Then I got 100 on Saturday, after I did some analysis and thought I should cut
some puttering stokes. I got 38/18, average 2.1.
I got 53 for first 9 holes on Sunday. I estimated it's another 100 bah, if I
finishe 18 holes. But seems Rugters University's course is more difficult. My
average putting went down again, 3/hole.
As a result, I do know I improved a lo |

here's what i have in my bag:
taylormade v-steel 3 wood with firm steel shaft;
taylormade rescue mid 2 hybrid;
callaway big bertha steel shaft 2 iron;
taylormade rac lt 3 iron through 9 iron, + pitching wedge, firm steel shaft;
taylormade rac 52 degree wedge;
callaway 56 degree wedge, which i use as my sand wedge;
odessey 2-ball blade putter (black);
my next club will be a driver, still debating between taylormade r7 or
titleist pro 905. if i do get a driver i |

发帖数: 17 | 6 As a beginer, you only need 8 clubs at the most. putter, Pitching wedge, sand
wedge, 9 iron, 7 iron, 5 iron, 5 wood, 3 wood, 1 wood. the reasons being you
can't differentiating clubs yet. a 9 iron in your hand would do the same as a
8 iron. piching wedge funtion the same for you as lob wedge. after hitting
about
10,000 balls, start thinking about adding irons. and don't touch long irons
unless you are in the low 80s.
about the grip, do what your instructer tells you. if he or she tells you to

去golfsmith买的，全都是callaway的，有driver（big bertha 454),3wood,5wood,iron
set x－18(4,5,6,7,8,9,pw,sw),putter,bag,travel
bag，towel，sunglass（不是callaway的），一共$1947。真的是好大好大一个包，怎么
能拿上飞机啊，哎。
另外，还得请教各位，这一套杆怎么带上飞机呢，肯定是得托运吧，在航空公司允许托运
的范围内么（应该在吧，要不那些打比赛的人怎么带的呢？），还有我用不用把所有杆的
塑料袋都拆了，再在草地上蹭一蹭，显得好像用过的样子，要不入关是不是要缴税？？

with a putter is flawless. But with wedge he is nowhere close
to being perfect.
Yes, I know he made amazing shots with wedges, like the one he
chipped in the 16th of Masters. It is certainly a great shot. But
he just got a break there. More often than not, he does not chip/
flop as well as you and I would like. |

发帖数: 10701 | 15 过去的两天在Ralegh, NC出差。 周一的下午下班后，hotel 只有treadmill, 最不喜欢
treadmill. 按耐不住，查了个距离hotel很近的golf course去打球。
因为什么都没带，手套，球，鞋，更别说球杆了，想想就租吧。 结果拿到了一套很
crappy king cobra,什么driver, fairwood, iron set, putter,买了一盒 nike mojo
球。
天已晚，没什么热身，直接奔tee box.
第一个hole, 420 yards par 4,眼瞧着球一个slice飞进旁边的driving range，看看
driver,苦笑一下，$2 没了， 心里还嘀咕着，我已经很久没slice了。
第二个hole,同样的tee shot,同样的，球飞入丛林。怒了，放弃driver.
接下来全用3 woods tee shot, hit 5/5 fairaway with averaged 240 yards distance.
iron set 也不同， shaft too soft, But they worked well fo |

He said, he pratices always with purpose. and the real swing is supposed to
the execution of the pratice swing.
say, when you want to do a 3-quarter swing to reach the flag, pratice the 3-
quarter swing instead of a full swing.
say, when you want to make a 3 foot putter, don't pratice like you are
trying to putt a 10 yards.
sounds obvious? try it and see if you could execute it well. |

if you want to be more realistic, a cleveland wedge (CG10, 588, $119), a
Odyssey (2-ball, 3 ball, hot #5 or whatever) putter will cheer him up for
sure. |

发帖数: 10701 | 23 我简单试了一下CG2/CG4 tour， 这两款都是为low -handicaper 设计的，我觉得还ok
，因为当时心思不在，也没太多感觉。cleveland 做得最好得就是它们的wedge， 我现
在手里的588系列（high bounce)， 我曾经拥有的900系列，我今天试过的CG10/CG11,
给我的印象都是同样的超好感觉，我可以用它们击出我想要的任何轨迹 － high and
soft, knock down, flop shot －当然，也许这些型号本身差距就不太大。他们讲
bounce区分开， low bounch/standard/high bounce， 也很有意义 － 不同bounce的
wedge在不同类型的场地（比如美国东海岸和西海岸）区别很大。
cleveland的iron/driver的生意不太好，个人感觉，不知道是不是和他们的代言人
Vijay Singh近期的表现有关。
接下来就是最门面最大的taylormade， 他们带来了最多的展示产品，从wedge/iron/
hybrid/wood/driver/putter, ladies/kids系列。 |

GolfDigest 2007 Jan issue has a complete list of the golf equipments -
driver, fairywood, iron, putter and balls.
The both get Golden awards, and are highly recommened. Obviously $500 beats
the $700. I would say.
I would recommend the Cobra FP.

铁杆，看好了taylormade rac mb tp，看了不少reviews，赞扬声一片。唯一不太确定
的是off center hits是否结果会很惨。
推杆，仍然在犹豫，有几个选择，scotty cameron red x2, scotty cameron futura
phantom, heavy putter b1, never compromise gm2-hm, 现在仍举棋不定，喜欢程度
基本上是按以上排列，不过那一个都有点爱不释手。

BTW: The up and down means if your ball is on the greenside or in the bunker,
you use one chip or blast to
get the ball UP to the green, and one putt to hit the ball DOWN to the hole. |

movement of the club face along a curve instead of a real straight back-
forth. |

you need find a good deal on those top brand.
could buy a pair of nice shoes,such as Footjoy.
could buy a really nice T-shirt. if your friends is tiger fan, you may
consider Nike TW.
could also buy a good stand carry bag or travel bag.
maybe also some training aids.
You'd better know what does he need or just buy a gift card from whatever
golf store,like golfsmith or golfgalaxy.

See, what a variety in terms of putter type and the grip in the pGA tour
nowadays. u will understand there is no absolutely rule. |
