朝鲜战争中有中美战史上光荣的一页，那就是长津湖战役。当时，美军分东西两线向中
国边境挺进。其中东线为由ALMOND将军指挥的第十集团军(X CORPS)。其攻击目标是中
朝边境的长津湖区域。该地又称长津水库，是一个将长津江截流形成的人工湖泊，上有
水电站若干。 美军前锋已到鸭绿江边，对着对岸，向江中小便（注一）。
X CORPS司令ALMOND给其师长们的指令是：“Don't let a bunch of Chinese
laundrymen stop you." 在美国排华法案下，美国华人从事的主要职业就是开洗衣店。
而且开洗衣店还被美国当地政府制定歧视性条款加以限制。旧金山市政条例就规定，洗

。北朝鲜（Democratic People's Republic of Korea）是苏联以占领方式所建立的共
产党国家，1947年斯大林挑选了一个听命于苏俄的朝鲜人金日成，指定他统治北朝鲜。
1948年7月20日南朝鲜建立“韩国”（Korea），长期从事独立运动的朝鲜人李承晚（Li
Seung-Man）当选总统。韩国的民主体制被金日成所敌视，1949年他奔走苏俄，请求对
韩国发动侵略战争（共产党称之为“统一”），斯大林未允。1949年8月29日苏俄首次
试爆了原子弹，由此有了安全感。
1950年1月份美国总统杜鲁门和国务卿艾奇逊（Dean Acheson）分别公布了美国对东亚
的保护责任和军事援助，而未明确包括韩国和台湾。这个失误刺激了共产党的扩张之心
。随即，斯大林批准了金日成的战争计划。1950年6月25日，北朝鲜13万军队突然越过
边界（北纬38度线）攻击韩国，发动战争。当时，韩国军队奇弱，装备低劣，面对狰狞

周平壤刚刚庆祝了一年一度的朝鲜太阳节。这个节日是为了庆祝朝鲜开国元勋金日成(
Kim Il Sung)生日。这个节日的主题是“人类的太阳金日成主席与太阳花一道永垂不朽
”──难怪钱显然不是问题。节日组委会向全国各地的温室提供了通过组织培养方法繁
育的种子，以增加“金日成花”(Kimilsungia)的种植，这种杂交兰花以金日成的名字
命名。据《平壤时报》(Pyongyang Times)报道，种植者日夜确保适宜的温度，防止病
虫害，克服了一年来的气候变化以及较低的日照水平。
今年的“太阳节”最令人气愤的一点是，它正好赶在了整个农业因恶劣天气、经济措施
不当以及效率低下的集体农场方式而歉收的时候。联合国世界粮食计划署的专家警告说

American boy plans NKorea trip to pitch peace idea
BEIJING – A 13-year-old American plans to visit North Korea this week and
perhaps meet leader Kim Jong Il to pitch his idea for a "children's peace
forest" in the demilitarized zone.

officials that the Chinese Government would support the reunification of
Korea under the control of Seoul.
The sensitive documents were released by Wikileaks last night ahead of
crucial international talks in Washington next month to discuss how to
tackle North Korea.

first time since the end of World War II, China — the powerful ally that
