发帖数: 40 | 2 Hi, I wrote a very small C++ program in Visual Studio 2005 in Windows XP.
The output file is .EXE file. I ran it in XP without any problems. However,
if I ran this exe in Vista, I got the following error:
"The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration
is incorrect. Please see the application even log for more detail."
I googled this problems and got three 3 solutions. However, I do not want
the target marchine to install extra binary (e.g VCRedist_x86.exe).

maturity is guaranteed by the insurance company, that make it look like a
bank CD. There is important difference between CD and GIC: There are certain
withdrawals without penalty allowed by the insurance company, unlike CD. In
summary, the GIC provide the liquidity like a money market fund while provide
yield comparable to CD which is typically higher than money market fund.

期限一般不长，rate是set的，大的GIC可以negotiate rate.
Insurnace credit都很好，GIC credit rating一般比BIC
高（银行发的）
Insuranc公司会invest一些long term去back GIC
的gurrantee rate，很多management比如immunization.
