The dog was left in the woman's BMW for hours with no ventilation or water

（1）文章并不是只有里程碑式的才有用，罗马不是一天建成的；
（2）指责别人文章多但意义不大的人，要有凭据(total citations and H-index)，
而且自己得至少有些意义大的文章，音乐界莫扎特不常有，但林夕之类还是颇多吧，
科学界也同理吧，爱因斯坦不常有，但>300篇文章，>万次引用，H-index>40的还是很
合理地多吧；
（3）发达国家年轻人离开science and engineering，不单纯因为他们有sense；
（4）引进外籍非英语母语faculty并不可怕，等到几十年后中文成为科学界通用语言的
时候（我相信有那样一天）再哀叹吧，那种酸溜溜的感觉实在funny；
（5）从作者的英文水平来说，比较适合做一个作家或者文学系的教授，而不是计算机系
教授。也许故意写成这样显示一个英文为母语的前教授的文法水平，洋洋自得昂起盎格鲁
萨克森的头颅鄙视那些只会简单平白科技语句的非英文母语教授们。可惜我老人家居然没
办法找到伊任何一篇科技论文拿来拜读。
（6）作者面对这些问题，自己先丧失解决问题的passion，决定qui |

难点不在于名，而在于姓上面，我的姓是Qiu,对老美来说很难发，这也就是算了，关键
是他们还老是写成Qui，然后照着这个来发。想请教下大家，以后有小孩了改成Chiu怎
