not sure about pediatrics, mycoplasma pneumoniae is one of the agents
causing atypical pneumonia, at least in adult population, establishing
diagnosis is not very practical, so it is recommended to treat with
community aquired pneumonia with antibiotics that cover atypical agents, so
quinolones are often prescribed,
for peds, since quinolone is not used, i think zithromax is the drug of
choice, if you just have bronchitis, most of bronchitis is viral, would
resolve without antibiotics, but for |

运用protocol.
UW 41 offline cases: 我当时和partner每个case仔细做一遍，虽然不像online有反馈
，但对练临床思维，补充protocol非常有帮助。最后考试与41 case有异曲同工之处，
遇到复杂case也不慌神。

not sure. Also, I need to know the total mg that you took in those 2 doses.
The floxacin (quinolone) family can be dosed quite high, and there's not
many side effects associated with them except for the usual ones: upset
stomach, nausea, headache.
So if you feel fine right now, then there's nothing to worry about. |

if you have flank pain, probably a complicated urinary tract infection with
pyelonephritis, infetion of the kidney, which is normally treated with
quinolones such as cipro or levaquin, though bactrim is an alternative but i
rarely use bactrim, the treatment course would be 10 to 14 days, any
imagine study would be to look for perinephric abscess,
since you took 1 week of antibiotic prior, not sure what you took exactly,

for purely academic discussion, for pleural effusions the initial diagnosis
is to differentiate between transudate vs. exudate,
in his case with recurrent effusions if builds up so quickly, would probably
need video assited thoracic surgery to obtain more tissues for diagnosis,
for psuedomonas infection probably needs to make sure it's not ESBL strains,
but normally i'd double cover with anti-pseudomonal penicillin and
quinolone,

stop taking cipro, can take over the counter benadryl for itching and
swelling, if your airway is not compromised, it should resolve soon,
hopefully by the end of the day, and you are allergic to quinolones from now
on, |

So you always wanna to educate the patient to seperate these antibiotic from multivitamin, calcium supplement and dairy product by at least 2 hours. |
