经典例子就是机器的health信息。
在这个问题场景下怎么解决propagation速度不可控的问题？譬如client在欧洲，手机
在美国，当client上传了一些照片，欧洲的服务器要到哪年才能把这个信息传给美国负
责手机同步的服务器？
我理解这样来处理，一套处理文件的系统，blockserver负责上传数据，并且更新meta
server集群中的信息。
meta server集群中记录文件更改情况和时间，按照时间戳来处理冲突（参考g家牛叉的
spanner）
meta server最后将数据按照primary key进行 partition 然后用consistent hashing
存在不同的存储节点上，存储节点上用leader election写在leader，传递给slaves 用
quorum consistency 保证availability。
当meta server更新结束，给一个distributed queue发送更新指令，说明用户和需要更

为key放入Cassandra DB，原始url为column name，column name是排序好的. 产生一个
UUID来作为tinyurl的索引。Quorum Read/Write
也就是说用hash粗比较，用原始url在相同hash里面做两分比较。这是个分布式数据库
，整个架构可以linear scaleout。
另外，既然是公开的服务，被猜到索引并不是问题，也不会是要求。 |

Cassandra tunnable consistency也不是你说的这种C，tune来tune去的结果是只能让
得到的结果是正确的概率更高而已，小数点后面几个9的差别。跟你想要的C根本不是一
回事。
A这个东西其实是你能接受的latency到底有多少，可以完全在有machine failure的这
段时间停止process任何request，然后等到完全恢复之后再继续，如果无限大的
latency还可以被认为是A，那就能实现A。关键是看这种cost有多大，能不能接受。
分布系统处理failure困难的一个地方就在于，在跟remote发信息的时候如果没收到ack
，不能分辨出到底是remote挂了还是network partition的，所以如果想要所谓的C，A
跟P基本上不能共存。Kafka design的时候有一个重要的假设，就是所有机器在同一个
network里面，假设不会出现partition。
即使是所谓的CP，CA系统，也不是完全100%的CP，CA，总有个别的case能break，只是

spanner目前是个怪胎，它的全球时钟实现暂时不考虑。
这里的FIFO只能认为是最简单情况，每个client的消息FIFO。（要保证clients之间的
causal order又会变得很复杂。。一般来说也没有这个需求吧。。）
所以结论基本就是client消息加编号咯。当且仅当0...n-1消息都收到时，才将n消息再
发给接收端。
WAL尽量保证故障恢复(因为要high throughput所以quorum不一定可以用)
最后如果因为种种原因真的卡了，那就真的卡了，选择timeout舍弃100%的FIFO还是选
择卡住等人来修，就是看requirement了。。。

如果HOA有给自己在合适的权限,可以在REGULATION VIOLATED, NOTICE DISREGARDED的
情况下拖车，就鼓励/催促他们去拖
如果他们没有那么聪明，就看看有什么条例是管选举的，自己去竞选，改BY LAWS
很多这种民间合约要求的VOTING QUORUM都很低很低，把和你熟点的叫过去一起投票就
可以改制翻天了

They repeatedly mailed the same Call for Vote notices because the board
governing the HOA is obsessed with this one agenda item of establishing new
Cost Centers. The loophole in HOA bylaw allows the board in soliciting home
owners repeatedly without a set limit. Each time they mailed out the same
notice they are wasting the money. The bylaw calls for minimal amount of

The HOA keeps sending out notice because they didn't receive the total
number of votes needed for it to be valid (not meeting quorum). They are
legally required to ask you to vote to keep the decision democratic. If you

1、最重要的成果是我们决定推举LaoEh (老鄂)今年做为我们Grand Lakes小区华人的代
表去竞选这个"居委会"的Director。据他自我介绍，在参与社区服务和义工方面他已具
有相当经验。
2、我们会建立一个Grand Lakes所有华人的Google Group作为我们的联系工具。虽然是为

发帖数: 46 | 47 2011年的USTCAF的选举的计票工作于11月21日完成最终计票和文字总结。
本次选举收到选票中，大约三分之二来自投票期间电子邮件投票，另有约三分之一来自
于最后两天的一键投票。投票期限的最后两天里较多的投票数得益于多位志愿者和热心
会员、校友们的代转代传以及我们分年级、班级的提醒投票的冲刺。
关于投票人数门槛：在投票开始前的十月底，从历年来的全部捐款记录中，我们计算出
1308位具有投票资格的独特的捐赠者代码 (Donor ID)，并进而算出327 为投票人数的
达标线（可投票人数的四分之一）。但是这个1308的数字中还有大量的‘死’邮件地址
，也有一些对应于非自然人的捐赠者代码，以及同一位会员（根据姓名，科大班级和邮
件地址来确认）对应于多个捐赠者代码的情况。在理事会内部的共同意见下，我们计算
了在扣除、校正以上这些情况后的可投票人数为1083，其对应的quorum则为271.
本次选举所收到的投票人数为329。选举被理事会认定为有效。
