这部片子，和以前的科恩的片子其实是一脉相承，都是非常的cynic。用一些网友的
话来讲，是典型的犹太人的思辨，反讽。男主人公遇到麻烦去求教于rabbi，那些
rabbi给他的答案都是莫名其妙，驴唇不对马嘴的寓言故事，而且这些故事都是讲了
几千遍对谁都是那一套。这里讲的不是什么宗教，而是调侃rabbi。同样的，他老婆
要和他离婚，打算嫁给他的一个很寒碜的好朋友。他老婆要求举行宗教仪式离婚。
这里也不是想谈什么宗教，而是讽刺他老婆和奸夫。再比如男主人公评tenure,一个
senior faculty 暗示他有麻烦，后来又提前告诉他能成功来买好，讽刺了一下学校
里面的tenure和等级。再比如那个韩国学生和父亲行贿，把韩国人倔强不服输却又缺
少点consistency的性格刻画得惟妙惟肖。没看这个片子的时候看有人说这个有歧视
亚裔的嫌疑。如果单拿出来看我肯定也觉得这是歧视。但放到这个影片里就完全没有
这个意思了。因为这个影片充满了这种反讽，对谁都是一样，包括rabbi。
也有的评论说这部片子讲的是中年危机。当然也有着层意思。其实科恩的片子就是

早在2002还是03年， 那边就抓了一个很大的涉及地产官商勾结， 貌似还involve了黑

我说，我们这儿rabbies疫苗是required，如果不打，猫不一定会得rabbies。但是如果
万一猫咬了来家里做客的人，追究起来，没有vaccination，猫就会面临着被put down
