I was at the game in 1982 when Majors defeated The Bear and the goal posts
were torn down (what a night). I was in New Orleans in 1985 when the Vols

他们是被队长叫进来的，雷叔说要请他们都来喝一杯雷贝斯之梦，欢呼声中他们进
屋，喜悦未散就都躺下了。
雷叔对大家说，十五年前拜特把他们雷贝斯送进了波帝，蛰伏了十五年，就是为了
占领波帝的海德，现在我们发动了。晚上好，黑，不怕有光。
波帝的这次的黑夜特别长，不是感觉，是实实在在的长。
现在已经是十二月九日晚上接近午夜了，从八日天黑下来开始到现在天一直没亮，
黑夜连上了黑夜。
雷叔离开了韩德，现在他坐在耐克的雷贝斯里。已经撕破了脸，没什么可担心的，
华鲁士已经带人冲进海德了。观察了解了十五年了，波帝的防卫力量他了如指掌，他们
挡不住华鲁士，更不可能抽出人手来反击。
居民们没人知道发生了什么，所以，耐克雷贝斯正常营业。
连续的黑夜让喜欢夜店的男女们特别兴奋，他们才不觉得天没亮有什么不好，他们
希望一直是黑天，若是此时天亮了，一定发生暴乱。
雷叔坐在吧台边，看着喧闹的舞池。
今天客人比平时多很多，两个半大孩子也混了进来，甚至还领着一个十来岁的小胖
子。
管他呢，反正不会有人来检查了。

这个“悲伤小狗”运动是由一位美国畅销科幻/奇幻作家LarryCorreia在2013年发起的
发起的。LarryCorreia宣称雨果奖受到美国科幻界的“政治正确”气候的影响，偏向奖
励女作家、年轻作家、少数族裔作家如黑人作家等等，使得部分白人保守派的作家和作
品完全被忽视，从而在自己的博客上发起这个“悲伤小狗”运动，宣称要夺回美国保守
派白人（在美国科幻界这些人也被称为右翼作家）在雨果奖中的地位。他在自己的网站
列出了一个“悲伤小狗”的提名名单，号召自己的粉丝只投这名单上的作品。那一年“
悲伤小狗”影响似乎不是太大，不过在2014年的第2次“悲伤小狗”运动中，
LarryCorreia提名拉票的12篇作品里有7篇入选雨果奖候选，其中就有Larry Correia自
己的长篇小说“Warbound, the Grimnoir Chronicles”以及另外一位保守派作家Vox
Day的短中篇小说“Opera Vita Aeterna”。结果，顿时舆论大哗。有组织的拉票是一
个原因，另外一个原因是因为Vox Day作品的入选。

写一个中产家庭出身的女孩,拿了奖学金进了东北部的一个著名的贵族预科高中.
笔调非常灰暗,描写细致真实,看到那个女主人公在高中的靡滥生活,不免令人心酸.
////这个书评基本上比较忠实原作.
按《预科生》（Prep）的题材——美国中学生的成长故事——这部小说不太可能进入《
纽约时报》２００５年十大好书名单，成为其中五本年度小说之一。美国人讲的“预科
”，是指那些收费昂贵的私立寄宿学校，完全以学生进入名牌大学为目标，功能上相当
于我国的重点中学。笔者因《纽约时报》推荐而读，私心只想看看书中学生如何申请美
国长青藤大学，因为数次被人问到这方面信息。读完之后，却觉得《预科生》确实别有
特色。
作者柯蒂丝·西顿费尔德（Curtis Sittenfeld）写的是外乡女孩莉在新英格
兰贵族学校的遭遇。按内容算“青春文学”，文笔却是一点不幼稚，这毕竟是三十岁成
