不过话说回来，这standard double加11-23T的后齿轮，简直就是racer用的车，在这边山地很多的地方，如果你不能保

day to day due to weather condition and etc. We won't be able to do it on
Sunday 'cause it's scorching hot. (I was soaked in my own sweat during my
early Sunday morning 19k long run.)
Jekky & I are not road racers, and we don't pretend to be one. (I did race
one though last year, and that would be my last one too.) We are training
for our 1/2 Ironman races which would have a 94KM long hilly (not mountain)

position, top of sadde should be from 5-7cm higher than top of handle bar.
Some top racers can even set the saddle 10cm higher than handlebar. |

发帖数: 2284 | 13 去年的PPD Beach To Battleship Ironman Relay，因为是第一次，虽然兴奋，但是在
实力和技战术上确实有些不给力。今年年初，出血装了一辆新车，加入了一个俱乐部，
开始和road racer们请教切磋，虽然没有针对Iron distance的针对训练，但是每周至
少一次70miles以上的intensive long ride，加上其他各种ride，自己感觉水平还是有
显著提高。
五月，公司开始招募参赛选手。我和跑者Jeff都没问题，可惜去年的泳手Jenn要结婚，
于是我们找了个小伙子Seb，team从混合性别接力变成了男子接力。Seb不太和人通气，
大家都不知道他的训练怎样，一直担心他只是为了好玩来纯粹混事，后来才发现小看了
他。
十月初，给车上了aero bar，重新fit，从一个俱乐部的队友处借了aero helmet，然后
和狐朋狗友说要暂时再见了，因为要为一个叫做Beach To Battleship Giant Time
Trail的比赛做单独训练。大家很鄙视地表示从来没听说过这个TT。

Oak Ridges Moraine for Life Adveture Relay (160km)
这个比赛是上次在跑版被我奔的那位台湾跑友介绍加入的。他过去两年年年跑，年年迷
路。于是推荐我去替他，并且我还能骑山地车。
160公里分为14个赛段，每个赛段分开计时，赛段之间的休息时间不计入总时间。
第一赛段是Canoe（独木舟），我们队的两位Canoe选手是canoe racers，去年就是第一
个划过湖的，8公里48分钟。
接下来的13个stages就是自行车和越野跑。我今天负责最长的自行车赛段和最长的越野
跑赛段。

之间犹豫了一下，最后还是因为担心wireless的可靠信而选择了wired。
Looks like you don't have any problem with wireless.
By the way, my training motto:
Training is as much an art as a science.
The art part makes it more fun.
如果你有机会看＂Boy racer＂，Cavendish曾经和他的一位data obsessive教练有过严
重的冲突，可以算是两个极端的点型例子。不过Cav应该算是pro cyclist里的另类，他
的故事他的成功有很多看起来反常规的地方，值得思考。 |

发帖数: 5141 | 21 我的这个wireless有一个不好，就是没有cadence。不过设计只能用neat来形容了。而
且我平时就用来看看距离和速度。如果真的要track的话，我有一个跑步用的GPS手表。
Boy Racer听起来真的挺有趣的，等我把手头囤积的这些本运动员传记读完了，就读这
本。
我有时觉得，跑步时候不看GPS手表，骑车时候不看bike computer，就专注运动本身，
也挺享受的。感觉和专注于数据完全不同，而且会更加享受。
不同的教练训练理念不同。写过Ultramarathon man的Dean Karnazes大学里练习长跑的
教练就推崇run with your heart；而他后来的track and field的教练就是data
obsessive。结果就是Dean之后就不再跑步了，知道30岁生日的时候，开始跑步，而且
一跑就是ultra，一发而不可收拾。。。

team stage比赛的，完了有空我可以多跟他骑骑group ride，应该比donut ride更
civilized些。Donut Ride我只敢在race season以外骑，以防crash影响比赛计划。 |

My Fuji Roubaix is in local Performance bike but they haven't assembled for
me yet. I also liked Shimano A-530. But the sales guy told me its single-
side clipless and platform on the other might sound good, it will become
less convenient when you have to find the side to step in. So I picked up
Shimano PD-M540 instead:

非是水平超卓的车手，一般的racer要是把这个当作真正的road race对待，那真是给自
己找不自在。
另外，要是注意到第一名和第七十二名就差了30秒，而第七十二名和第七十三名之间
有3.5分钟的大空档 - 这就是一个明显的break away。在road race里，水平差上两级
的车手出现这么大的gap再正常不过。

些山都没有mtb的trails，都是人骑出来的。那时候也没有真正的“山地车”，他们还
自己动手做。然后提到他们也曾在公路上下坡狂冲50mph。如果没有这种疯狂的精神，
