Try to find a reman steering rack from like autozone, advanceautoparts etc.
They always have lifetime warranty. Install it in a trustable repair shop
instead of dealer it will save you a lot of money. |

这个绝对不行。Toyota的Power Steering用ATF的，加power steering fluid不但没用
反而会把pump搞坏，到时候就不是换个rack这么简单了。 |

axial. It is not the CV joint, which does not need steering oil.
I have a 2005 Camry, and has the similar issue with noises during cold start
in the morning. I added some Locus Steering Oil, which seems working. You
need to pay attention to the steering oil reservior level. The repair cost
at a Toyota dealer is $1200, and you should expect to get it done at
indepent shops under $1000. |
