发帖数: 1664 | 1 作为一个从2008年9月才开始听Radiohead的人，其实我是没资格写这张专辑的征文的。
应该由那些听了十几年的hardcore fan们来写，比如把Radiohead推荐给我听的hunterw
同学。我这篇就算抛砖引玉吧，同时也顺祝hunterw生日快乐。
主要听的是《The Bends》和《OK Computer》这两张，上下班的时候开车听，大约听了
一年多，曾经一度车里只有这么一张mp3 cd里面全是radiohead的歌。这两张专辑都不错
，更加喜欢《OK Computer》一些。
这个乐队的配器极强，各种乐器很有层次非常丰富，而且还会加入很多效果。乐手版一
位吉他大牛跟我说，在一首歌中，vocal相当于面孔, guitar是皮肤，bass是血肉，dru
m是骨架。我很喜欢《OK Computer》中的bass和drum以及它俩之间的互动。
但是更重要的是，这个乐队的主唱太强了。我以前以为摇滚不需要唱功，但是听了Thom
Yorke的声音后才知道完全不是这样。他的声音非常有表现力，对我来说是有魔力的。

'In Rainbows' encoded too low for some fans
Radiohead have drawn complaints from fans who have been attempting to
download their new album 'In Rainbows' today (October 10).
An e-mail sent to fans who registered to buy the album says the songs are
encoded at 160 kbps - which is higher than the iTunes rate of 128 kbps but
not high enough for some fans.

Radiohead是一支来自牛津的乐队。主唱Thom L .Yorke于1968年
10月7号出生于阿伯丁。进入大学后，Thom和Colin产生了建立乐队的
想法。从此以后，他的绝大多数空闲时间都是在隔音的排练室里度过
的。随后。他俩加入了一个名为TNT的乐队。乐队在每个星期五排练
，1987年，乐队不顾外界的阻止，在牛津郊区的一个小酒馆里进行了
第一次演出，但演出并不很成功。
1992年，乐队录制了第一张小样，取名为《Manic Hedgehog》并
在牛津地区销售。同年，乐队改名为Radiohead，名称取材于The
Talkingheads乐队的一首歌《Radio Head》。1992年3月，经过一个
小制作人的制作，乐队的第一张EP发行，反响强烈。为了乐队的发展
，乐队和当时的著名工作室Boston-based联系，制作人对乐队小样中

一直拒绝承认自己是Progressive Rock, 事实上他们根本就拒绝给
自己的音乐起一个名字，十年转眼，Thom Yorke开始掉头发, 可是
Radiohead的音乐在美妙旋律后依然充满愤怒嘲讽，同样和我们一
起长大的达明一派却从染头发到各奔东西到悄然无息。不歌颂爱情
不歌颂美好生活，或者要歌颂就歌颂到底，这对一个乐队的常青很

BTW, I love Zeppelin and Radiohead.
Actually Kingforever can start with Radiohead's most recent album: Come Lag.
It's basically a live album, and cover several songs from their previous
albums. I think they are pretty good when going live, even better than their
studio versions. |

Lollapalooza Festival.
Promoters of the festival, which is set to take place at Chicago's Grant
Park August 1-3, have not yet confirmed the lineup. But "industry sources"
told the Chicago Tribune that Radiohead have been booked as the "centrepiece
of the festival".
They also said that Nine Inch Nails will give their first Chicago
performance in several years at the event, which was founded by Perry

专集, 两个bumper sticker, 和一张DVD, 算是替计算机里这些盗版mp3
赎罪吧, 不过Thom Yorke在一次访谈里亲口说过, 他不怎么反对歌迷们
听盗版mp3, 都什么年代了, 买得起CD就买, 买不起就听mp3呗. :) 等
Radiohead跟U2一样老一样谢顶一样媚俗的时候, 咱们就有足够的钱从
钱包里拍出来买一张他们歌颂英国人民的CD啦. |

release new album 'In Rainbows'.
Managers Chris Hutton and Brice Edge spoke to BBC Radio 4's 'Today'

record deal with XL Recordings.
