这两盘东西，从初中到现在，陪伴我度过到目前为止人生的大半时光。
第一次听德永英明是刚到日本读书的时候，好象也是秋天。每次听都有种淡淡的忧伤。
德永英明的声线很脆弱，有些神经质，每次听到我都会感慨。。。

和旅游资金有留出，401k, Roth IRA会放满。股市目前大跌一周，其实是中长线entry
不错的机会，但因工作性质不便另开brokerage账户。自住新condo一套，房贷的话，去
年最低的时候锁定的30年固定利率3.375%，觉得挺好的rate不想提前还房贷还能省点税
。自己工作比较忙，可能没什么精力去打理太多其他事情。

their lawns due to drought. "西雅图不下雨是也多是大雾天" that only applies
to winter months. If you love winter sports, that is not an problem.
Rainy days:
Summer: 1/10 or less.
Spring/Fall: 1/2 to 2/3.
Winter: 4/5-6/7 (rain or cloudy).
Depends on your rain tolerance, i think 9 month out of 12 is perfect. Of
course, there are folks like sunny every day, which Seattle is not likely to
be.

summer. It is not. In most areas of LA, it is hardly ever less than 60 and
rarely more than 80. It cools down at night and you almost always need at
least a light sweatshirt - even in the summer.
The more inland you are the warmer it is. And the Valley is much hotter.
Sept is the hottest month of the year. June is the gloomest. If it's going
to rain, it is usually Jan or Feb.

allowed me to drive 41 miles fully on electricity, as opposed to ~45 in a
rainy day. Because EVs consume little energy at park/low speed, getting
into traffic is supposed to be the "showtime" for an EV compared to an ICE

竞争一份工作，薪水还要拿来养孩子养老人养自己，到时候真是连打退堂鼓的余地都没
有，commute几个小时也得硬着头皮做。更何况还有退休金的问题，不工作或者晚好多
年才工作，退休之后的生活也少保障。总之如果一个家只依赖单一的收入来源，不如有
两个收入来源来得稳定和有control

我觉得这里很多人都办过博物馆/科技馆/儿童博物馆的年卡
(那些住DC可以看免费的除外!)
很多儿童博物馆/科技馆的member其实是可以用在其他地方.
主要两个programs . ASTC passport & ACM member
ASTC 是 The Association of Science-Technology Centers
ACM 是 Association of Children's Museums
两个是不同的,虽然有个地方横跨两个.
ASTC有个限制,就是不可以在90miles以内的(严格说), 但是相对ASTC都是科技馆居多,
适合大点的孩子.

你娃那几次的不听话的事件如果是偶尔发生的话，也就归类于 outlier 事件。
There are always rainy days。。。不能用来 outlier 事件来给娃 label。
我觉得观察娃和事件，最好想像有个 narrator 在那边，一个 invisible
person。在旁边观察记录。事后大脑里回放的时候，也站在 narrator 那个
角度回放，看到娃也看到自己，这样的观察更中立些。。。 |

which is the part I like most, because they can have physical exercises when
it is too hot, too cold or rainy. They also have nice outdoor playground
