Here is what they wore in the combat (fighting at Tsientin)
Based on General A. Gaselee's report, It was 24th
Punjab infantry and 7th Rajiput leading the way break down the gate and
rushed through,the second battalion of the royal Welsh Fuiseleers and the
HongKong regiment (Sikh).
General Gaselee and his staff led 70 men belonging to the Rajiput Regiment
and HongKong Regiment rushed to the British Legation around 3:00 pm.
