and fast, SSNMR may take much longer time. SSNMR can also provide a lot of

我不知道你的仪器是什么样的,有的时候仪器上会给出relative shift。这个时候你要
先查你用的什么激发光,知道激发光的能量,加上relative shift就能算出对应的光子

incident light- E_scattered light == E_phonon,理论上其实很难,民科的解释很
简单,wiki就行了
一般谱单位都是cm-1,换成THz的话就是乘上光速(3*10^10cm/s)

理论上讲,如果能测raman全谱,是可以分辨很多东西。但是Sunny的这个技术现在一次
只能测一个波长上的raman,这个波长上如果lipid的raman信号比较强,他们就说测的
是lipid,其他成份以此类推。他们可以重复在不同的波长上成像来看raman特征相差比
较大的东西。这和全谱分析,还差了十万八千里。
raman全谱分析在化学分析上早就在用,但是因为普通raman技术信号非常非常弱,根本
无法成像。Sunny的突破在于他的技术,信号强到可以video rate imaging,但是他的
SRS只能一次一个波长的测raman谱。
只凭单点的实时成像就上了science,如果能快速做宽带谱或者很多点,估计能炸药了
,只可惜我不觉得这个能靠SRS技术实现。

那个600nm的峰随激发光波长改变位置吗?
要是你能够看到水的Raman signal,PDMS的Raman signal可比水强不少。不过500nm激发
,545nm的峰对应的Raman shift 是 1650 cm-1,是C=C的,不过如你所说应该受激发光
波长改变位置.一般说来Raman信号应该很弱。

他们演示的这些成份都是raman谱上有很特别的谱峰,在特异谱峰上测,specifity才好
。很多物质的raman谱很复杂,各个之间有大量重合的谱峰,不是那么好分的。raman是
不可能代替label的。

好像以前也在这里也回答过你的光谱学问题。
透射光 should refer to the forward-traveling laser excitation. so it is not
Rayleigh scattering.
if you only worry about 透射光, then a 90 degree or a back scattering (which
most modern commercial instruments use) doesn't have this problem because
by definition 透射光 doesn't go to the detector.
but if you worry about Rayleigh, regardless what geometry is used (back
scattering, forward scattering, 90
degree), the Rayleigh scattering is usually many many times stronger than

RAMAN,什么有IR,先去看F A COTTON写的经典教科书:群论在化学中的应用,讨论的很
箱子。
IR怎么是外围电子跃迁?IR是振动,可以用经典力学模拟,根本不涉及电子跃迁。
我说的是谢的发明可以代替核磁,不是说方法的原理一致。

印度南边的 Tamil Nadu 没法根据姓氏长短判断种姓,因为他们理论上根本没有姓氏,
孩子的姓用的是父亲的名,比如CV Raman中的Raman其实是他爹的名。
另外,美国其实有很多低种姓的靠读书出来的印度人。比如Gupta是第三种姓的典型姓
氏,美国姓Gupta的应该蛮多的

背景是,美国fresh PHD in physics/materials, 做固体材料里phonon dynamics,
electron-phonon interaction,和其导致的thermal transport和phase
transformation性质。实验和计算各一半, 估计属于小community。实验主要是高温高
压Raman, infrared, neutron scattering等, 自己搭建的变温raman spectrometer,
所以对光学实验非常熟;计算主要是first principles molecular dynamics
simulation算法研究。 文章,有3,4篇一作通讯作者PRB, 1篇一作PRL,只审过几次PR
的文章和一次solid state comm.,无其他,虽然通过骚扰编辑有几个杂志被editor加
在通讯名录里暂没接到任何活。不知道为啥凝聚态这么多杂志这么多manuscript,也没
人找我做个审稿的,唉。。。

爱国归爱国,事实还是应该冷静的看待,事实是中国高校的确没有直接出过诺奖得主(
杨振宁2年前说中国10年内会出诺奖吧),要攀关系的话,中国就是西南联大拿得出手,
可惜这学校只办了8年。。这期间出了杨振宁、李政道、邓稼先、黄昆等人,可惜杨振
宁、李政道都是台湾国籍
印度没有经历过文化大革命,学术自然高一截,这个应该怪罪于老毛,当年多少科学家
被迫害、自杀,还谈什么搞学术呢?
再说诺奖里也分好坏,阿三的Raman,Bose对科学的贡献的确是里程碑式的,地位不可
动摇,"Raman spectroscopy", "Boson" 这些都是今天不停用到的东西,相比之下杨
振宁、李政道的contribution的确是相形见拙
