了解中国的空气质量与世界其他地方相比究竟如何，这里有一幅描述全球空气颗粒物污
染情况的新地图，由加拿大科学家根据美国国家航空航天局(NASA)的卫星数据绘制而成
。结论：情况看起来不怎么好。
中国东部工业区处于地图上红色程度最深的区域，表明这里的颗粒物浓度是最高的。这
对那里的居民来说可不是什么好兆头。而如果你位于这片红色区域的正中心，想要呼吸
到新鲜空气就得背井离乡，穿越千山万水了。
加拿大达尔豪斯大学(Dalhousie University)的研究人员董科拉尔(Aaron van
Donkelaar)和马丁(Randall Martin)利用NASA的卫星数据对全球范围的颗粒物水平进行
了测量，他们认为无法找到有效的地面检测方式，即使有，这种方法在很多地方也存在
缺陷。这幅地图发表在期刊《环境健康展望》(Environmental Health Perspectives)
上。

很多中国人在美国旅游坐火车，回来不免会吐槽：美国人的火车不行，体验太差。
又贵又慢不说，美国的火车大多设施陈旧，颠簸不堪，相比之下，简直被中国的高铁甩
出几十条街。
不仅是外国人，美国人自黑起来也是拦不住。
连美国国家铁路客运公司的（Amtrak）前董事杜卡基斯（Mike Dukakis）都很无奈：“

技术不只能取出原油，成本更不到20美元。

大概60miles（接送朋友去cruise)
Highlander 的内部空间少很多，但是似乎更容易操控。如果孩子老人多，
估计还是pilot好
没有觉得pilot噪声是个什么大问题，估计是没有开过高档车的原因。
当年准备买车的时候，从电脑上看了看图片，LD认为pilot比较威武，
第二天就去testdrive了，总共不到2个小时就买了！2010年圣诞左右
买的，pilot LX，最低档的了，都不是四驱的。:P不过价格真便宜，
OTD 28k。(TTL 6.5%)
油耗不大注意，因为总可以从kroger / randalls之类加到$1 off 或
$2 off的油。反正也不是什么好车，不心疼。几乎从来都是用这两个
杂货店的油，似乎没有问题。
当初不熟悉车况/车门情况，开得又少，电池被我几次放到完全没电，
让dealer上门拖车两次，第二次将电池换了。:P
另外本地那家honda dealer 提供终身免费换油--只要车子没有换主人。 |
