是张纯如的母亲写的，算是比较新的书了。sd的公立图书馆系统还没有任何copy。我捐
之前的要求就是进流通借阅部，而不是在旧书店卖掉，因为是特意买来捐的。nobel这
里的north universities 图书馆查阅后表示肯定会进流通借阅。
同时还带的一本张的南京大屠杀，还有华裔美国 口述历史的书，图书馆都有不少
copies，所以只能进旧书店，我就没捐。
同时向图书馆建议在12月展出南京大屠杀和张的传记，不过因为时间紧，而且我也考虑
12月主要是节日气氛，所以建议来年的11月9日张纯如祭日前后，在展示架上推荐她的

如果民主是个百害而只有一利的，那究竟是理论上先天不能自洽还是实际中经被唱歪了
呢？能不能先给民主下个定义？
作为一个实打实的普世派，我先说说我的定义。
民主：公众领域的事务遵循少数服从多数原则。
自由：个人拥有免于被强暴的权利（不管肉体上还是精神上）。
换言之，众人之事众人说了算就是民主，私人之事个人说了算即为自由。
这是常识，不是什么高深理论，天天被rape可能会锦衣玉食，拒绝被rape可能会风餐露宿。要求不被rape当然不是什么救世良方，不是什么万灵丹药，而是人类现代文明演进到今天的基本人伦。
你问世界上真有什么普适的东东么，你觉得“己所不欲勿施于人”这老祖宗的八字真言够不够普适，强迫共产、伊斯兰政教合一是不是“己所欲必施于人”的典型？
普适无非就是“人同此心，心同此理”。你说不愿被强暴合不合这八个字呢（世上当然有受虐狂，但“自愿受虐”也算不得被强吧），这种权利诉求够不够得上“放之四海皆准”呢？当然，道理是一回事，现实另一回事，你可以说西方的民主不是真民主，自由不是真自由，甚至可以说民主主义共和国的人民民主专政下才有真民主真自由，但... 阅读全帖 |
